Touted to be a fantasy film, ‘Brahmastra’ is undoubtedly one of the highly anticipated movies of Bollywood in 2019. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are playing lead roles in this movie.

Another appealing thing for the Tollywood audience is that the movie is going to feature Nagarjuna Akkineni in a crucial role. Big B Amitabh Bachchan is also playing a vital role in this film. Ayan Mukherjee is helming this project. Today Nagarjuna joined hands with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to unveil the title logo of the film. The trio are at Prayagraj Kumbh Mela and have released the title logo of the movie which is now going viral on the internet. They have launched the fly lights which formed the title logo on the sky which is beautiful to watch.

Fox Star Studios banner is producing this movie by investing a massive budget of 150 crores. The movie is slated to hit the screens on December 20th, 2019.

Both Ranbir and Alia are currently busy shooting for their film Brahmastra. In fact, the couple fell in love on the sets of this film only. Directed by Ayaan Mukherjee, Brahmastra is a trilogy which also stars Amitabh Bachchan in another key role. The first part is slated to release on this Christmas.

After scoring a blockbuster with Simmba, Ranveer Singh is now coming up with his new film, Gully Boy. Based on the life of Mumbai based rapper, Divine, Gully Boy is all set to release worldwide tomorrow. The film was premiered recently at the Berlin Film Festival and got good reviews over there.

Meanwhile, it faced trouble in India with the Censor Board, which objected to certain scenes in the film. Apparently, there was a 13-second long kiss scene in the film between lead actor Ranveer and Alia Bhatt, which was cut short and the board asked the makers to put long shot instead of a close-up.

It has also suggested cutting a few cuss words in the film, in order to get the film certified. The filmmakers, who are confident of the success, despite all the cuts, have agreed to all of them. Thus, the film is now set for the litmus test at the box office.

Bollywood sensational actor Ranveer Singh is currently pretty much busy working on his next film titled as 83, which is a biopic on the life of ace cricketer Kapil Dev. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are currently in Bulgaria shooting for their fantasy drama ‘Brahmastra’. On Wednesday, the rumoured lovebirds had two special visitors on the sets on Wednesday.

The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind along with the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev visited the sets of the ‘Brahmastra’ being directed by Ayan Mukerji. The President office tweeted the same “#PresidentKovind and President Radev dropped in at the studio in Sofia where the Hindi film Brahmastra is being made. The Presidents met the Indo-Bulgarian crew and chatted about cinema as a business and cultural link between the two countries,” and added some pictures from the sets. Our President is on an eight-day three-nation visit to Europe with his wife Ruman Devi. The duo Presidents spent time on the sets and talked with the team.

Ranbir Kapoor looked much excited hosting the Presidents of the two countries. The entire crew including director Ayan Mukerji, Alia Bhatt etc posed to the camera with the two dignitaries. Brahmastra is a part of a trilogy. Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna are also playing vital roles in this flick which is slated to hit the theatres in August 2019.

The film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat which is inspired by real events. The movie is all about an Indian spy married to a Pakistani military officer prior to the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 on the order of her father.

On the works front, the actress is currently busy with Brahmastra, Kalank, and Galliboy.
