Star actress Alia Bhatt has fallen sick while shooting for her upcoming film Brahmastra in Varanasi. Everything seemed to be normal until Alia returned to Mumbai when the shooting schedule is in a midway. When the actress came back home, her official sources stated that she is down with viral fever.

Alia will take rest for few more days and will not get back to work till she recovers fully. We now hear that the team of Brahmastra will reshoot the unfinished portions of Varanasi in the month of November. Starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, Brahmastra is being directed by Ayan Mukherjee. 

Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy will be seen in the other important roles of the movie. Touted to be a fantasy mythological drama, Brahmastara is slated to release in next summer. It is being produced by Karan Johar.

Alia Bhatt is also one of those heroines who made her debut with the support of a big family. Her father Mahesh Bhatt is a star filmmaker in the industry and it was pretty easy for Alia to make her debut. But, post the debut, Alia worked hard and came up with a lot of exciting projects. She made a big name for herself with the projects like Highway, Raazi and Gully Boy.

Alia is all set to mark her debut in Tollywood very soon. Recently, she opened up about how she landed up on the project. Rajamouli revealed that he met Alia at airport and discussed the project. Alia too confirmed the same.

“I met Rajamouli sir at Airport one day. I begged him literally to give me an opportunity in his next film. I told him that I would be ready to do any kind of role in the film. Fortunately, he selected me for the film. I am currently learning Telugu for the film.” said Alia.

Actress Kangana Ranaut, who takes a dig at almost all the star actors in Bollywood, has been targetting Alia Bhatt for past few months. At first, she said that Alia became a star only because of Nepotism. Later, she attacked Alia for dating Ranbir who is way older than her. Now, she got one more chance to lash out on Raazi actress.

In a recently conducted survey, Kangna stood in first place for the best actress with a vote share of 37% while Alia stood second with 33%. Reacting to it, Kangana said, “I am embarrassed. What is there to beat in Gully Boy performance? same snappy much phat girl… Bollywood’s idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please.”

“Media have taken filmy kids to love too far. Stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised,” she added. Gully Boy was a good film and was well received by the audience just like Manikarnika. Thus, Kangana should not have attacked Alia by making such harsh statements.

Actress Kangana Ranaut is known for involving in controversies every now and then. Recently, this Manikarnika actress made some strong comments on Ranbir saying that the actor lacks any political ideology and he is an irresponsible citizen. But kudos to her as she genuinely speaks really well,” she added. Anyways, that is indeed a nice move by Alia to hit back on Kangana in a gentle way.
