Telugu beauty Anjali is busy in Tamil film industry with back to back films. The actress did not make a great career in Telugu but has got enough films on hand in Tamil film industry, she recently opened up about playing glamorous roles and doing lip-lock scenes.

In one of her recent media interactions, she was asked about her opinion of being a part of kissing scenes. “Sometimes, we have to act solo while doing kissing scenes and romantic scenes they will take her solo close-ups in such a situation we only see the camera but no one else. It is difficult sometimes those scenes come out well only if the hero is in front of me.” Said Anjali.

Anjali has no offers in Telugu currently.

There is an inseparable relationship between politics and the film industry. The number of top actors from the Kollywood and Tollywood has turned politicians and has tested their luck in the political arena. While few succeeded, others ended up quitting after failures. Now one more female star is expected to enter politics soon, and she is none other than Anjali. According to the latest buzz, Anjali might join politics very soon. Recently the actress met few politicians in Delhi and also visited all the chambers of the Parliament. Few reports rose in the media that she is set to enter politics in 2019 elections.

There is a great demand for female politicians in Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). They are expecting someone to compete with Roja and Anjali might serve the purpose. In an interview, Anjali said that she was interested in the politics and would follow it. In this scenario, we can expect Anjali to get into politics. Anjali, who has acted in most of the southern film industries, will now make a comeback in Malayalam cinema with a film that will be directed by debutante Vinu Joseph. The film is titled Rosapoo and has Biju Menon in the lead and is said to be a dark comedy which will be Anjali’s first movie after a gap of almost 7 years.

Speaking to a leading daily, director Vinu said, “We wanted someone who would look the part as well as perform well; Anjali fit the bill. Her character is half Tamilian and half Kannadiga. She’s also bold and is as important as the male protagonist.” Rosapoo will also star Soubin Shahir and Dileesh Pothen in important roles in the film.

Director Vinu Joseph further added that the film would have 143 characters and each of them will have their own prominence and will have dialogues.

“We held auditions in Chennai, Kochi, and Kozhikode, and also picked some from theatre. We took into account their background before casting them. For instance, for a Chennai-based Malayali character, we ensured that the person playing the role was from Chennai, to avoid any discrepancy in mannerisms, language or dressing style,” added Vinu.

The shooting of this film is slated to begin from August 23rd, 2017 in Ernakulam, said the director. Actress Anjali also has a couple of films in Tamil which might hit the screens in September, Balloon alongside rumoured beau Jai being one of them. Besides Balloon, Anjali also has a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual – Peranbu – which has been getting delayed for a long time now and is expected to get rolling soon.

Anjali is the Telugu heroine who made her debut with the film Shopping Mall. Later, she has seen in some good films in Telugu as well as Tamil languages. Right now, the actress is busy with her new film shoot in Tamil. In other news, she recently paid a visit to Indian Parliament.

The actress has gone on a short holiday to visit Vaishnavi Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir. In her return journey, she landed herself in the Parliament house. Anjali, who is busy with a hand full of films, is currently doing Balakrishna’s 99th film ‘Dictator’ directed by Sriwass and ‘Chitrangada’ film under the direction of Ashok Kumar. Apart from these, her new flick ‘Sankarabharanam’ will be releasing in the month of December.

Now the bubbly beauty has agreed to do another lady oriented film in Telugu. National Award Winning Telugu director Neelakanta Reddy will be directing this film. Neelakanta, who is a stereoscopic director, always managed to do films that are more in content. His films ‘Show’ and ‘Missamma’ have gained wide popularity and fetched him two national awards to him.

The news is that he recently met heroine Anjali and narrated the story line of a lady oriented film. Impressed by the story, Anjali has given a nod followed by allotting bulk dates to portray the role. This film is rumored to be a psychological thriller.
