Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna had superb onscreen chemistry in Geeta Govindham. They also shared a kissing scene in the film which plays a major part in the proceedings. After the blockbuster success of Geeta Govindham, the pair again teamed up for Dear Comrade.
Both of them were in Bangalore recently to promote the film. While speaking to the media over there, Vijay was asked about the liplocks in the film. Vijay instantly said that he doesn’t like the word liplock. He requested the people should term it as a kissing scene and not as liplock.
He said, “Actually, it is not Vijay kissing Rashmika. It is Bobby kissing Lilly. We are the only country where people forget that actors are playing characters on screen. Kissing is an emotion, like anger. When you cry, it is an emotion. In the same way, when you kiss, it is also an emotion.” Dear Comrade is slated for the worldwide release on 26th of July.
