As many as 32 lakh viewers have watched Allu Sirish’s Srirastu Subhamastu movie in cinemas as of now. The Parasuram directed film has already got hit status is continuing to post decent totals with steady run in major centers. As a matter of fact, third week collections are bit high compared to second week box office performance.

Usually, collections drop for regular films as days pass on. But, films with potential content will continue momentum for extended period. Promotional activities are still going on for Srirastu Subhamastu like a fresh release and these have turned prolific for the film.

Hero Allu Sirish crooned cover version of best song of the album- Anu Anu. In fact, Sirish got distinction marks for his singing knack. Visuals of the song are as fascinating as the track. Actress Lavanya Tripathi is also endorsing the movie on social platforms.

Since, no big film is releasing for almost 10 days, Srirastu Subhamastu is expected to continue its steady run at box office.

Allu Sirish is currently riding high with the success of his recent film Srirasthu Subhamasthu. The film was produced by Allu Aravind on Geetha Arts banner. Meanwhile, Sirish is busy with the post release promotions of the film. Sirish revealed the story line about his next film to media. Sirish said that he is going to star in the period backdrop film. The story happens almost 800 years back, and it will have a connection to the current times. Meanwhile, Allu Aravind who came across the news has insisted Sirish on keeping calm about the project. He asked Sirish to avoid telling out single lines about a film.

Allu Aravind wanted to be cool and calm about the film. After hearing to the story line, one easily gets connected to Ram Charan’s Magadheera. Having such impression from the beginning is something not good for any film. Allu Aravind is producing the film on Geetha Arts banner.

Mega hero Allu Sirish’s Srirastu Subhamastu is unstoppable at box office. The film has already crossed Sirish’s previous best of Kotha Janta collections and is set for biggest hit in the actor’s career.

Director Parasuram chopped off few hilarious sequences in the film due to runtime issues. Recently, they have added these sequences with request from Sirish and response from theaters for these episodes is exceptional.

“Sirish was right. I would have added these sequences then. We are pleased with the response for the edited version. Audiences are enjoying the newly added scenes. In fact, there is lot of augment in collections ever since the new version has hit the screens. I thank one and all who have lent their support for the film.”

Legendary director Dasari Narayana Rao watched Srirastu Subhamastu and he spoke positively about the film. Sukumar, VV Vinayak, Nandini Reddy, Nikhil etc are the other celebrities who have heaped praises on Sirish and Parasuram for making a meaningful movie.

Allu Sirish’s Youthful family entertaier Srirastu Subhamastu is running successfully in several screens across the Telugu states. The film have collected about 11crores gross so far. The film success meet has been held today and veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao along with star directors VV Vinayak, Sukumar and Nandini Reddy have attended the event as chief guests.

While speaking at the event, Dasari said, “Sirish has done wonderful job in the film. I liked Parasuram’s taking. He is indeed one of the best directors in the current generation. In fact, I introduced Sirish, Bunny (Allu Arjun) and Mahesh Babu as child artists to film industry.

Srirastu Subhamastu has really come out well. Growth in collections every day is proof of stamina in film’s content. It is good thing for industry that small time films like Kshanam, Pelli Choopulu and Srirastu Subhamastu performing well at box office. In fact, I am brand ambassador for small films like these.

Thankfully, Sirish didn’t pick a heroism based subject. He chose what kind of a subject he suits best for. Geetha Arts production had been started in my hands (First 2 films under the production- Banthrotu Bharya and Devude Digivaste were directed by Dasari). I am happy to see Sirish making his mark in the industry.”

VV Vinayak said, “Heroes of Sirish’s generation is curious for mass films and punch dialogues. But, Sirish is not like that. Only thing he concerns about is his character and story. I am happy that Sirish is doing lover boy kind of roles, family drama films and films with soft content. With this encouragement from him, filmmakers will dare to prepare such subjects.”

Sukumar said, “I need to compliment Sirish on one thing. He dominated Bunny in his third film. His voice and comedy timing are far better than Bunny. I’ve conveyed the same to Bunny also. As far as I know, Parasuram is the best writer in industry after Trivikram.”

Nandini Reddy said, “I know how hard work both Bunny and Sirish put in for their films. When we usually meet, only thing we discuss about is cinema. Srirastu Subhamastu has become a big hit because of Sirish’s hard work.”

Parasuram said, “I thank everyone for coming here and blessing our cinema. I’m truly blessed to have such sweet and encouraging words from Dasari gaaru. I’m overwhelmed with all your compliments.”

Sirish said, “I’m more happy for several star directors complimenting our film, rather than what the film is collecting at box office. Only thing I believe is directors can only provide hits to any actors. All the success credit should be given to my director. I thank Parasuram for that. Dasari gaaru speaking about our film is biggest achievement for us.”

Stylish Star Allu Arjun has huge fan base not just in Telugu states, but also in Karnataka and Kerala. When Bunny was in Bangalore city to promote his last outing Sarrainodu, he spoke in Kannada to please local fans.

Allu Sirish is following his elder brother Allu Arjun’s footsteps. The youngest son of ace producer Allu Aravind is currently enjoying the success of Srirastu Subhamastu which is leading at the box office among recent releases. The film have collected about 8cr gross in 5 days. Sirish has also tried to impress Kannada spectators, like his brother did previously.

Srirastu Subhamastu success meet has been held in Bangalore today. Sirish has attended the event, for which yesteryear actor-director Ramesh Aravind and star Kannada producer Rockline Venkatesh were chief guests. Promos of the film were screened during the event.

Rockline Venkatesh was all praises for Allu Sirish. He said there is lot of transformation in Sirish’s performance in the film, like how Bunny had shown variation from Gangotri to Arya.

“Allu Aravind is like Brahma to the film industry. We all are his disciples. I am very much contented that his son Sirish’s film is having great run. Sirish will definitely become a star,” said he.

Ramesh Aravind also lauded Sirish for his proficiency in cinema, business and acting. “I had seen him hosting IIFA Awards compellingly. I really liked the film Srirastu Subhamastu. I also did a film with the same title- Srirastu Subhamastu. This apparently is a hit title. I’m ready to remake this film in Kannda with Sirish, if I will be given the chance. Right now, I’m remaking Bhale Bhale Magadivoy in Kannada.”

Allu Sirish started his speech in Kannada. “Audiences here admire my brother Allu Arjun like a local hero. I hope I can also somewhat entertain you in same manner. I like Karnataka very much, since Bangalore is my favorite place.

If I’m not a Telugu actor, I would have been settled in Bangalore. I’m glad that my film is doing great business at BO. I thank Ramesh Aravind gaaru and Rockline Venkatesh gaaru for attending the event,” said Sirish.

The latest buzz from the film nagar reveals that Parasuram who recently scored a hit with Srirasthu Subhamasthu is going to make another film in Geetha Arts banner. Srirasthu Subhamasthu was made on Geetha Arts banner. Apparently, Allu Aravind was happy with the working style of Prasuram and immediately offered him the second film. Parasuram has already completed the script for his next film, and the producers are in discussions to rope in a hero for the film.

If the buzz is believed to be true, Sharwanand might be roped in for Parasuram’s next film which is to be bankrolled by Allu Aravind on Geetha Arts banner. Sharwanand is on a roll now. He has a movie in B V S N Prasad production, and he is acting in Shatamanam Bhavathi produced by Dil Raju.

Story

Sirish (Allu Sirish) is a son of rich businessman. His father (Prakash Raj) wants to marry him and his brother to someone who are equal to their status. But Sirish’s brother marries a middle class girl without the consent of his father. Sirish happens to love Anu (Lavanya Tripati) whom he has seen and rescued in Kashmir during his business trip. When he take this love affair to his father he rejects it and ask him to marry a girl he choose. Over a conversation they both agree on a small challenge and Sirish goes to Vizag to meet Anu and make her fall in love. After some days or months of their friendship Anu falls for him and her father (Rao Ramesh) fixes her marriage with his friend’s son when she is about to propose her love to Sirish. How Sirish finally get to marry Anu? What is the challenge between him and his father?? forms the rest of the story.

Cast and Performance

Allu Sirish is okay as Sirish. He improved a lot compared to his previous two films. He also looks handsome in some shots. Lavanya Tripati is at her best as usual. She looks so beautiful. Satyam Rajesh is good and evoke some laughs in his presence. Prabhas Sreenu is superb and has given laughter moments. Swapnika Reddy as friend of Lavanya Tripati and Prabhas Sreenu is good. Prakash Raj is fantastic as a rich father and has taken movie to the next level. Rao Ramesh is perfect. Thanikella Bharani and Sumalatha is good. Ravi Prakash is good. Other artists did fine job.

Writing Department

Story by Parasuram is simple and good. Dialogues are good and has some decent lines. Screenplay is good and falls flat at some places.

Technical Departments

Srirastu Subhamastu songs composed by SS Thaman are good and title track is received well by the audience. Background score is nice and works well in emotional scenes. Cinematography by Manikandan is superb. Visuals are treat to watch on screen. Editing by Marthand K Venkatesh is okay. Production values are rich.

Verdict

This movie goes directly into the story from the very first scene. How a rich businessman hates to marry his son or daughter to a person from middle class can be said as the theme of the movie. First half of the movie has all the elements like love, comedy and family emotions. It is entertaining and good. Interval bang is good and interesting. It goes into emotional mode with the second half. Family emotions are very well shown and it goes deep into the hearts of people. Sometimes this movie looks like amalgamation of Solo, Bommarillu and some other movies. Director Parasuram has done impressive job in turning a simple story into a entertaining ride. His dialogues and screenplay are good. To sum up, Srirastu Subhamastu is a fine movie of Allu Sirish with Parasuram.

Mega young hero Allu Sirish’s upcoming film “Srirasthu Shubhamastu” is gearing up for its release on August 5th. Meanwhile, Sirish’s next flick is confirmed with an interesting title “Jagadeka Veeruni Katha”, which was a 1961’s super hit film starred by Sr.NTR.
