Director Sreenu Vaitla is currently busy with the script work of his next movie. His wife Rupa Vaitla is always associated with him for all his movies. She worked as a costume designer for him for many films. Earlier, she started a dairy business where she started selling the milk products under the name Vaitlas Vedik. Now, she has ventured into a new business altogether.

Going by the buzz, she is expanding her business now with the name Vedik Health and Wellness where she will be selling soaps, shampoos and other products. The new business is going to come into existence very soon.

Director Sreenu Vaitla has been going through a lean patch for a long time. His last hit was Baadshah which was released way back in 2013. Later, he made almost half a dozen films, but none of them were successful in bringing him back to the success form. To strike a hit at any cost, he is opting to make a sequel of his old film.

According to the sources in the industry, Sreenu Vaitla is planning to make a sequel to his 2007 hit film Dhee. Starring Vishnu Manchu, Genelia and Sri Hari in lead roles, Dhee is considered as one of the finest comedies that had hit the screens during those times.

Now, this sequel might feature a different cast reprising the original characters from the film. Thus, Sreenu Vaitla is looking for new actors to replace Sri Hari and Vishnu’s roles. If everything gets set, he might take the project on-board within a couple of months.

In the recent times, all the noted and famous directors prefer to choose to buy stories from other persons legally in order to avoid all the hurdles in future.

If the latest reports are to be believed, director Srinu Vaitla has paid a struggling writer named Vamsi a whopping Rs 50 lakhs for the story. It is heard that the newcomer didn’t have any issues in letting go his story as he got paid a lucrative sum in return. It is learnt that Srinu Vaitla bought this story for his new film starring Ravi Teja in lead role.

Srinu again collaborated with his old writer friend Gopi Mohan for Mister. Starring Varun as the main lead, he took Lavanya Tripati and Hebba Patel as female leads. After flops, he was back to his earlier love stories mode to score a hit with his talent. This story revolves around a 27 years guy who goes in search of a love. Fortunately, he gets another love when he was in search of his love. Hebba is seen as a modern girl and Lavanya is donning the character of a village girl. Srinu stated that he has very happy with the output and he thanked his producers for giving him the best production freedom. He revealed that the movie will hit screens on 14th April.

Nallamalapu Srinivas and Tagore Madhu jointly bankrolled this flick. K V Guhan’s visuals and Mickey J Meyer’s music will make this triangular love story, a hit film.
