Director Srinu Vaitla, who became one of the top directors of Tollywood with the successive hits of ‘Dookudu’ and ‘Baadshah’, is reportedly planning to sell his house.

After his latest films ‘Aagadu’ and ‘Bruce Lee’ turned out to be duds, Srinu Vytla is a forgotten man by the industry. The disputes with longtime writing partner Kona Venkat and noted actor Prakash Raj have also damaged his reputation. On personal front, he faced a huge setback after his wife Roopa filed a police case against him.

It is not sure if personal issues have forced him or financial issues after the successive failures but Vytla has decided to sell his house, which is located in Journalist colony. Unlucky Vasthu is also said to be another reason. No one is said to be keen to buy the house for a price tag of Rs 15 Cr. Poor Vytla.

Srinu Vaitla’s back to back disasters at the box office ‘Aagadu’ and ‘Bruce Lee’ made him a jobless director from the position of a star director. Ever since then he has been making desperate attempts to bounce back.

After discussing with several heroes, Energetic Star Ram has been chosen by Srinu Vaitla as the hero of his new movie. The film is likely to be the sequel of their earlier super hit film ‘Ready’. After the success of ‘Ready’, Ram and Srinu Vaitla never teamed up as they got busy with their respective projects.

Even though Ram’s latest film ‘Nenu Sailaja’ was a decent hit, many of his recent films proved to be duds, so he needs another big hit to consolidate his position. Srinu Vaitla also needs a big hit to prove his stamina as he has been discarded by both audience and critics.

Top director Srinu Vaitla is heard to have filed a police case against star writer Kona Venkat. However, the exact details of his complaint are not revealed yet. Another buzz is that Sreenu Vaitla filed a complaint on Kona in the Film Chamber and also in the directors’ Association.

After working together for over a decade, Vaitla and Kona parted ways after ‘Baadshah’. After the failure of Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu, Ram Charan brought this combination back for his ’Bruce Lee’. After the failure of this film, Kona Venkat commented that Vaitla did not use many of his given scenes.

It may be recalled that Vaitla has been going through the personal and professional turmoil of late. Few days ago, his wife lodged a domestic violence case against him.

Now, he has filed a case against Kona Venkat. Meanwhile, Kona Venkat’s new movie as a producer “Sankharabhranam” released today.

Tollywood has been following director Sreenu Vaitla’s format of the screenplay for almost a decade now and scored many hits. However, audiences have got bored of this screenplay and the disastrous result of ‘Aagadu’ is the perfect example.

Vytla is now coming up with his latest directorial project ‘Bruce Lee’ starring Ram Charan. While speaking to a media channel, he said that since almost all filmmakers of Telugu cinema have started following his screenplay, audience got vexed of it.

Vaitla confessed that he used to select a hero first and then write the story however he has decided to change it from his next film by writing the story first and then selecting a suitable hero.

Vytla has finally realized the importance of the story for a film.
