Director Sreenu Vaitla is currently busy with the script work of his next movie. His wife Rupa Vaitla is always associated with him for all his movies. She worked as a costume designer for him for many films. Earlier, she started a dairy business where she started selling the milk products under the name Vaitlas Vedik. Now, she has ventured into a new business altogether.

Going by the buzz, she is expanding her business now with the name Vedik Health and Wellness where she will be selling soaps, shampoos and other products. The new business is going to come into existence very soon.

However, his luck turned bad with Mahesh Babu’s disaster ‘Aagadu’ and it extended further with Ram Charan’s ‘Bruce Lee’. Not only this, he had issues with his wife Roopa and the issue went to the extent of Police cases.

After back to back flops like “Aagadu” and “Bruce Lee” Srinu Vaitla is pushed into more trouble these days. This trouble isn’t any professional one but sadly from his personal life.

Srinu Vaitla’s wife Rupa Vaitla recently has given a complaint against this director for domestic violence and harassment over her. She reported this to police at the Banjara Hills police station.

As per the statement, the local police registered a preliminary FIR over Srinu Vaitla under IPC Sections 488 A and 323. Since their marriage (12 years) Srinu Vaitla and his family members were harassing her said Rupa Vaitla.

Along with his husband, his relatives and friends were also harassing her at all times, confessed Rupa near the police. She further said that on 12th of October Srinu Vaitla manhandled her in front her children’s and later on 13th October he once again did the same thing. Srinu Vaitla has broken her phone and also abused her parents, said Rupa.

Sources also said that differences between Srinu Vaitla and Rupa have been from a long time. Big names of Telugu Film Industry and close persons to these couple have also sorted problems between them many times.

Police now will further conduct a counselling for Srinu Vaitla.

Banjara Hills police have registered domestic harassment case against ace director Sreenu Vaitla for harassing and assaulting his wife, Roopa.

As per police report, Sreenu Vaitla’s wife Santoshi Rupa approached the Banjara Hills police on 15th October alleging that her husband assaulted her after an altercation. Following the assault, Rupa left their house at Journalist’s Colony and went to live with her parents at Yousufguda.

Police registered a case against Sreenu Vaitla under IPC section 498-A, based on the complaint lodged by Rupa. However, on 16th October, Rupa, through her advocate, filed a petition expressing her desire to withdraw the case. After counseling the couple, police will decide about the future course of action.

Sreenu Vaitla married to costume designer Roopa over a decade ago, and they have three daughters. They spotted together in many events, and she also designed costumes for several Sreenu Vaitla’s movies.
