Naresh fires on Shivaji Raja

It is already known that actor Naresh has been elected as the president of Movie Artist Association (MAA), about a month ago. He defeated Shivaji Raja to become the president. Later, Shivaji Raja made some insensitive comments on Naga Babu, who supported Naresh in the elections.

Naresh said, “Shivaji Raja has no right to make such comments on Naga Babu. Everyone who worked as the president of MAA, have done their bit for the welfare of the organization. Be it Shivaji Raja, Murali Mohan, Rajendra Prasad or Naga Babu. Ups and Downs are common in any term.”

“Shivaji Raja said that Naga Babu is physically challenged. I can assure that Naga Babu is physically alright and he even took part in the election campaign. Shivaji Raja also stated that Naga Babu is a miser. But it was Naga Babu who started giving out pensions when he was president. He also donated Rs. 6 lakhs to MAA when I contested as joint secretary,” he added. Naresh concluded by saying that Shivaji Raja should not make such harsh comments in the future.

Shivaji Raja is the popular artist in the Telugu film industry who is currently serving as the president of Movie Artists Association. He has been doing great works for the welfare of some artists in the film industry. I promise that I am not going to contest for President this time and I am happy with my career so far. My son is entering as a hero and his first film is currently in progress. His second movie will begin soon.” said Shivaji Raja during his birthday celebrations.

MAA President Reacts On Mahesh’s Event

Shivaji Raja, the president of MAA association has been revolving around a lot of controversies of late. He has faced disputes with the treasurer Naresh in the recent past but it looks like all the issues were sorted out successfully.

Meanwhile, Shivaji Raja recently interacted with the media where he opened up about the reasons behind the cancellation of Mahesh Babu’s event in the USA.

When questioned about the same, Shivaji Raja said, “We were ready to undergo troubles but we wanted Mahesh Babu not to face any kind of issue. Because of the same reason, we cancelled the event as we want no disturbance from the organizers to Mahesh.”

Shivaji Raja agreed that the disputes existed between him and Naresh but he again said that everything was sorted out between them.

Recently he gave a strict warning to Telugu actresses. He said, Tollywood heroines are taking huge amount as remuneration for each movie, but they are not showing interest in MAA activities. Shivaji Raja further said the Telugu actresses are not co-operating to fundraising for the construction of the building for MAA and old-age home.

He further added that the top stars from Telugu Film Industry like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Superstar Mahesh Babu, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Victory Venkatesh and others are extending their support and coming forward for MAA initiatives.

Police issued notices to 3 Young Heroes in TFI

Police on Wednesday issued notices to 4 people belonging to the Telugu film industry to present themselves before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the shocking drugs haul case. Those issued notice include three young heroes, four producers, two directors and one fight master.

They were instructed to present themselves before the SIT within six days for an interrogation. They have been warned of serious consequences if they fail to make themselves available for investigation.

Apart from members of the film industry, others involved in the drugs abuse include multinational professionals and school children. It may be recalled that a ninth standard girl using drugs had shocked both people and police in Hyderabad.

While many bigwigs in the Telugu film industry have acknowledged the involvement of film celebrities and its personnel in abuse of drugs, they have taken objection to the entire film industry being maligned in the media because of a few.

Movie Artists’ Association (MAA) President Sivaji Raja, producers Suresh Babu and Allu Aravind, and hero Srikanth had spoken on the issue at a recent event held by MAA in the city.
