Sardaar Gabbar Singh is the latest film which is grabbing the attention of everyone. The film is releasing in Telugu and Hindi on a simultaneous note is raising the expectations on the film. Recently, the makers successfully overcame the disputes regarding the release of Hindi version. In the mean time, unexpectedly they are now encountering a local dispute with the multiplexes owners. The owners of multiplexes are opposing and uninterested in screening the film. They have their own reasons and the difference of opinion with the distributors of Nizam is the reason behind it.

The Nizam theatrical rights of the film are with Indra films. The distributors, unlike the other film releases, laid a condition for multiplexes that they have to pay the advances for the film release. This actually happens with the single screen theatres and coming to multiplexes, the profits will equally be shared with the distributors and owners. As a result, the multiplexes management in Nizam area is showing their displeasure with the distributors. The confusion about the film release is still in a dilemma.

On the other side, the makers of Sardaar Gabbar Singh have increased the promotion campaigns. Many interesting promos of the film are being aired on Television.

With this kind of black marketing, not only the common audience but many of mega fans are also not able to grab the tickets legitimately.

Makers are planning to release Pawan Kalyan’s forthcoming action entertainer ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ in record number of screens.

It is heard that 188 locations have so far been confirmed in North America. This is huge for a Telugu film in this region. Already 800 theatres have been booked for the Hindi version, another record for a Telugu movie. As no other Telugu film dares to have a simultaneous release with Sardaar, over 1400 theatres in the Telugu states are expected to screen the film.

Benefit shows are also being planned in huge number. With this kind of mammoth release, audiences can witness earth shattering opening on day one and barring Baahubali records, no other record will remain after the release of Sardaar Gabbar Singh.

The mania of Pawan Kalyan has already engulfed the Telugu audiences and they are eagerly waiting for the release of the movie to have a perfect entertainer from Pawan.

Bollywood actor Sharad Kelkar is making Telugu film debut with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s forthcoming film Sardaar Gabbar Singh as the antagonist in the movie. In a recent media interaction, Sharad said that Pawan Kalyan finalized him even before he auditioned for the role.

He said, “I was approached by producer Sharrath Marar, and was called for a screen test. However, even before I auditioned for the role, Pawan sir knew he had found his villain. In his mind, he had finalised me even before I was officially signed for the role. I think he has a great eye for talent.”

Pawan’s faith in Sharad boosted his morale. Sharad, who worked in television and films such as Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Rocky Handsome, will be seen as an evil landlord in the film. The film’s shooting is progressing at a jet speed in Switzerland.

Bobby of Power fame is the director for the film and Pawan Kalyan himself lent the story and screenplay. Sharat Marar is the producer and Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer. Kajal Aggarwal and Lakshmi Rai are the female leads in the film.​

As per latest reports, power Star Pawan Kalyan’s much awaited ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’, which is earlier announced to have a worldwide release on April 8, would postpone to April end or May.

Delay in production and post-production is said to be reason for this unexpected postponement. The shooting of Sardaar is progressing at a sluggish pace, and there is, at least, one month of work is to be completed still.The production unit will shoot a song in Hyderabad and then fly to Europe to shoot 2 more songs on Pawan and heroine Kajal Aggarwal.

Even though Bobby is the director, Pawan Kalyan is supervising all the departments. His political activities have also put brakes to the shooting on numerous occasions. Most probably the filmwill postpone to April end or May.

Sardaar has done humongous pre-release business and buzz is quite high. The postponement will definitely bother the distributors.
