Senior Tollywood producer Daggubati Suresh Babu has finally received a breath of sigh after the order of the High Court in his favor.
It may be noted Suresh Babu was earlier prevented from discharging his duties as the new President of the Film Chamber after a city civil court issued a directive in this regard. The act of the civil court was in response to a case filed by Murali Mohan alleging that Suresh Babu has lots of dues to the Chamber.
Both Suresh Babu and the Film Chamber separately appealed in the High Court challenging the verdict of the civil court. After hearing the proceedings, the High Court Bench was convinced with Suresh Babu’s plea and gave verdict that he owes nothing to the Chamber.
The High Court also ruled that a legally elected person cannot be prevented from discharging duties. Suresh Babu has welcomed this decision.
