The rampage of Kabir Singh is still continuing at the box office. It has now crossed the 200 crore mark and joined the elite club. This is the second film of Shahid to join the 200 crore club, after Padmaavat. It is his first achievement as a solo hero. Kabir Singh has collected Rs. 207 crore nett in two weeks.

With this, it has also crossed the lifetime figures of Salman Khan’s Bharat which managed to collect 198 crores at the box office. If Kabir Singh crosses URI: The Surgical Strike (246 crores), it will become the highest earner of the year 2019. Looking at its performance, it is a cake walk for this film.

The trade pundits are predicting that Kabir Singh will end up collecting somewhere around Rs. 275 crores in lifetime run. Thus, it will become the biggest hit in Shahid Kapoor’s career. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kabir Singh featured Kiara Advani as the female lead.

The Jodhpur Court has given a strict warning to Bollywood actor Salman Khan to attend the court hearings without missing them. The actor was accused in the 1998 black buck poaching case which is still under process. He was already given a five-year jail sentence but the actor has come out on the bail.

Salman was supposed to attend the hearing yesterday but he bunked it. Disappointed with his attitude, the Jodhpur Court has directed him to attend the next hearing on September 27. If he fails to attend it, the court will reject his bail which will eventually land him in the jail.

Salaman was accused of hunting two blackbucks in Rajasthan while shooting for the film Hum Saath Saath Hain in the year 1998. In 2018, he was sentenced five years jail term, but he got the bail within two nights on a bond of Rs. 50000 with two sureties of the total amount.

Salman Khan is currently busy working on the project Bharat which is the remake of a Korean movie. Soon after the completion of the film, Salman Khan is said to be contemplating to be associated with an exciting project directed by Sooraj Barjatya. Salman Khan considers this legendary director as his Guru.

Both the actor and director have earlier collaborated on the projects “Maine Pyaar Kiya” “Hum Aapke Hain Koun!”, “Hum Saath Saath Hain” and recently “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.” Now, the actor and director are going to join hands again. The director has already confirmed that he will be working with Salman again in the future. Salman is also said to have given his nod for the project.

As per reports shared by the IT department, Bhai has paid an advance tax of Rs. 44.5 crore for the fiscal year 2016-17 as against Rs. 32.2 crore paid last year. The difference in figures clearly shows an income growth of 39 per cent over the last one year.

The second highest tax payer is none other than the Khiladi, Akshay Kumar. Even with a series of hits in 2016, Akshay’s income has seen a minor drop. Akshay paid an advance tax of Rs. 29.5 crore as opposed to Rs. 30 crore in the last fiscal.

Next in line is Hrithik Roshan with an advance tax payment of Rs. 25.5 crore. The last financial year saw the actor paying Rs. 14 crore, which obviously means that his income graph has seen a positive growth.

The list also includes the names of biggies like Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, etc. to name a few. Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aishwarya Rai do not feature in the list as they’re under investigation linked to the Panama Papers leak.

Salman Khan’s trial over his 2002 Hit and Run case that was scheduled today was once again postponed. Salman attended the court, clad in white and blue denim jeans, to face the trial and the examination. However, investigating Officer Rajendra Kane informed the court that since police were all deployed on the Election duty, they were not in a position to go ahead with the trial.

This accounts for the second time that the trial was adjourned. The first trial was to happen on March 26th which was postponed to April 1st as the three witnesses in question to be examined did not show up in totality. The session’s court then postponed the trial for today, which once again, failed to see the proceedings happen.

Salman Khan, who sat with his bodyguard and sister Alvira, waited patiently while the decision to postpone was announced. The actor has been in the news a lot off late, for genuine reasons. His campaign supporting the cause, Being Human, Veer fetched as much as 1 crore rupees in funding to support the individuals with physical disabilities.
