Rekha is one of the senior heroines in Bollywood film industry. She is given a legendary status by Bollywood film fraternity. Almost after two decades, the actress is going to give a stage performance. Rekha has decided to make her re-entry onto the stage at 19th IIFA awards event that is going to be held soon. The same news has been announced recently at a press meet by actor Varun Dhawan.

“I have grown up watching her movies and I am going to watch her perform live. This is very exciting for me. I am sure her performance is going to be a major highlight.” said Varun Dhawan at the event.

Karan Johar and Ritesh Deshmukh are going to act as hosts for this awards event that is going to take place in Bangkok from June 22nd to June 24th.

The much-awaited biopic of legendary actress Savitri, which titled as Mahanati released in Telugu and Tamil languages took the box office by heavy storm. In Tamil, the film titled Nadigayar Tilagam and impressed the audience. There are few scenes in the film that sparked the controversy and even received a backlash from the daughters of Gemini Ganeshan.

Meanwhile, the Bollywood senior actress Rekha who is the daughter of Gemini Ganesan from his first wife Pushpa Valli opened up about the project. She revealed that she is willing to watch the film.

As the film Mahanati depicts the life of her father, Rekha has decided to watch the film and get to know what has been shown in the movie. When the film was announced, Rekha got interested in the project but later she had many doubts about the movie. As the film released now, she has informed the producers that she wanted to watch the movie.

Yesteryear Bollywood queen Rekha turned down the offer to play actor Vishal’s mother’s character in the upcoming Tamil flick Poojai. Unfortunately for the director, the actress rejected the role on the grounds that she was “too busy with other commitments”.

The director of the movie is Hari, who initially had his heart set on the actress playing the hero’s mother and was hoping for her green signal to go ahead as it would only have required a few days out of her schedule, for a brief time in the year.

But Rekha was disinterested in committing to the project and the director has now roped in Radhika Sarathkumar for the same role.

Poojai is a film which is being produced by the fiery action star Vishal, in addition to having him play the lead, also stars the sensational Shruthi Hassan in the female lead. Sathyaraj, Mukesh Tiwari, Renuka, Jayaprakash, Prathap Pothen and others form the supporting cast.

The movie will, for that added sizzle, feature a hot song starring the multi talented and gorgeous Andrea Jeremiah.

Too bad though that Rekhaji couldn’t say yes – it would have been a feather in the cap for the film makers given that the actress not only is a legend in her own right but also is the daughter of the legendary Tamil actor Gemini Ganesan.

The First Look of Fitoor has been revealed!

The film stars evergreen beauty Rekha, Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead roles. The cast has been working together for the first time.

Katrina Kaif is currently riding high on the success of her last film , ‘Dhoom 3’. Her love life seems to be sailing smooth as well.
