Director Krishna Vamsi, known for creative and intellectual films said that he is still counting on the script of ‘Raithu’ and it will be done only with Balakrishna Nandamuri. It’s the star who has to give the nod.

After a terrible failure of ‘Nakshatram’, he didn’t sign any film as he planning the next one big and to get a break from the streak of flops he has been enduring since a decade. He was supposed to do ‘Raithu’ with Balayya and that should have been his 100th film.

But the film got shelved once Amitabh Bachchan rejected the role he was offered and Balayya lost the interest to carry forward the project. When a fan asked about this during an interactive session on Twitter, he said he still bets on the script of ‘Raithu’ and it has to be Balayya who should give a nod.

Nandamuri Balakrishna might soon be working with Krishna Vamshi for an exciting project titled as Raithu. The film reveals the struggles faced by the farmers and the way they earn a survival. The script has come in a fantastic way says the sources. Balakrishna and Krishna Vamshi have also approached Amitabh Bachchan with the script and asked him to play a key role in the film. Balakrishna is very keen on roping in Amitabh for the film. He recently revealed that he wouldn’t be doing the film if Amitabh is not on board for the project.

But Krishna Vamshi is making alternative plans for that. If Amitabh Bachchan shows no interest in the film, the director will be approaching Krishnam Raju with the role. But it is to be known whether Balayya accepts for this change or not.

Nandamuri Balakrishna was supposed to work with Krishna Vamshi for his next film. Tentatively titled as Raithu, the film revolves around the farmers and the struggles they face in their day to day lives. But as per the latest buzz in the film industry, we are hearing the reports that Balakrishna is planning to keep the project on hold. Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s film Khaidi No 150 has spoken something regarding the farmers, and the film has now become a big hit. Balakrishna is now thinking to start Raithu after some time as people might compare his film with the previous one.

Moreover, Balayya is also saying that he will do Raithu only if Amitabh Bachchan agrees. In between all this, it is the director Krishna Vamshi who is in a fix. He is busy wrapping up Nakshatram and pinned many hopes on Raithu. Let us see whats going to happen.
