The pre-release event of Kalyan Ram’s upcoming film 118 was held in Hyderabad last night. Nandamuri Balakrishna and Jr. NTR attended as the chief guest of the event. As this is the first time both NTR and Balayya shared the stage after of the release NTR’s biopic, everyone expected him to talk about that film.

But surprisingly, NTR didn’t utter a word about it and stuck on to speaking only about 118. He said, “I love the dedication that Kalyan Ram anna shows towards his films. I saw this film and it moved me very much. Especially, Nivetha Thomas made me emotional with her act in a particular scene. Even Shalini Pandey has done a good job.”

Tarak also asked his fans to drive safe and reach their homes safely. He said he don’t want his fans to meet with accidents like his brother Janaki Ram and father Hari Krishna. Directed by KV Guhan, 118 is a suspense thriller which is slated to release on March 1st.

The failure of NTR: Kathanayakudu has pushed both Balakrishna and director Krish into serious retrospection and now, they are taking their own sweet time to release the sequel, Mahanayakudu. Both of them are sitting on the edit table daily to make sure that the film is crisp and to the point, unlike the first part.

On the other side, we hear that the first copy of Mahanayakudu will be shown to Chandrababu Naidu soon. As his character will play a major role in the film, Balayya wants to show it to him before the release. Rana Daggubati played the role of Chandrababu Naidu in the film.

Meanwhile, according to the reports, the makers are now planning to release the film on March 1st on the occasion of Mahasivaratri. The film features Vidya Balan as the female lead and Kalyan Ram, Rana, and Sumanth in other key roles.

NTR Mahanayakudu is the title for the second part of NTR biopic which is gearing up for a grand release now. The first part of the movie, NTR Kathanayakudu failed to make the magic at the box-office and ended up being a big disaster.

This second part is said to be revolving around the political career of NTR and the makers are hopeful that the audiences will love the movie. The film unit opted for re-shoots regarding particular sequences and they also have made changes to the already shot movie to make sure that they come up with a satisfying product for the audiences.

The film was supposed to release on 7th of February but then pushed to 14th. Later, there was a talk that it will hit the screens on 22nd but finally, the film is aimed for a release during Maha Shiva Rathri festival, on March 1st.

The makers might announce the release date officially soon.

It was already known that director Teja was supposed to direct the biopic of NTR initially. Even the film was launched when he was the leader. But eventually, due to some creative differences, Teja had to move out and Krish took over the project from him and directed the entire two parts of the film.

But, sadly, the film’s first part Kathanayakudu flopped big time by incurring heavy losses to the distributors. On the flip side, Teja made a film with Bellamkonda Sreenivas titled Seeta, whose first look was out a few days back. During the press meet of Seeta, Teja was asked about NTR.

Reacting to it, Teja said that he is yet to watch the film and can’t make any comments without watching it. Responding to the claims that there is not enough emotional drama in the film, Teja said that it all depends on the director and how well he handles the subject. Meanwhile, Seeta is slated to release in summer.

NTR Kathanayakudu is one exciting movie which is currently in the theatres. The film is the biopic on the life of NTR and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu caught up with a special show of the movie last night and has penned the review of the movie.

The film NTR Kathanayakudu filled a lot of inspiration. It is great on the director Krish’s part to showcase and present the history of 30 years in three hours. NTR is a great personality and there is a lot of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice behind his life which was shown beautifully. So, it would be better to keep him out of the project than experiment with him and make the fan get upset” said Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.
