Mega heroine Niharika Konidela’s debut film was launched today formally in Hyderabad.

It is not a common scenario for a girl from a huge family backdrop opting to act in films as the heroine. Her family has heroes like Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Sai Dharam and her brother Varun Tej. Apart from them her father Naga Babu is a character artist and Uncle Allu Arvind, a producer.

With such huge filmy personalities living around her, it isn’t a tough wish for Niharika to also become a film personality. It was some time ago that she spoke her mind with her parents of becoming a heroine. Now that’s a bit tricky wish. Not many heroines exist in Tollywood who come from a filmy background, especially when brother or father is a huge star.

Accepting her decision Naga Babu gave green signal to his daughter which resulted in accepting the offer of a heroine role in a film.

This film will be directed by Rama Raju of Mallela Teeramlo Sirimalle Puvvu fame. Young Hero Naga Shaurya is the lead hero in this film. Madhura Sreedhar and TV9 will jointly produce this film.

The regular shooting will commence in Hyderabad very soon and later on will move to Vizag where the major part of shooting will be held.

When Niharika Konidela, daughter of mega brother Naga Babu decided to get into Tollywood, there was a lot of opposition from inside and mega fans. However, a film was announced recently, and Naga Babu said that no matter what comes, he will support his daughter.

Even megastar Chiranjeevi said that first they tried to convince Niharika against entering films but they had to oblige to her as she was adamant about her decision.

As per the latest buzz, all the young mega heroes including Ram Charan, Varun Tej, Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish, etc.. tried to convince the young lady against films.

Surprisingly, Niharika is said to have reverse convinced all of them assuring that she accepted the flick only after listening to the subject, a pure love story.

Niharika will debut opposite Naga Shourya. The shooting of the movie will start from 16th of this month. Naga Babu will come to the shooting spot on first day along with his wife.

Mega Brother Naga Babu’s daughter Konidela Niharika has surprised everyone by launching a production house, ‘Pink Elephant Pictures’. This is not all. She has also started a first of its kind Youtube web series, ‘Muddapappu Avakai’.

When quizzed about his sister’s launch, ‘Kanche’ hero Varun Tej said that the decision was not taken overnight. He added that after having several rounds of discussions in the family, finally they decided to support her. Niharika Konidela is pairing up with Naga Shourya in her first movie and it will directed by Ramaraju.

‘Although, our family was initially concerned of how fans would react, now we are confident that they will welcome her’, added Varun.

Actress Ramya Krishna is going to play the role of mother to mega heroine Niharika Konidela in her debut film in Telugu.

Yesteryear actress Ramya Krishnan rose to become the top actress of the south cinema in the 90s by playing performance oriented roles and glamor roles simultaneously. However, in the recent times, she shifted her attention towards character roles.

Post playing the role of ‘Sivagami’ in ‘Baahubali’, her stardom has come back. As per sources, the makers of Niharika Konidela’s debut film ‘Oka Manasu’ have been trying to rope in Ramya Krishnan to play the mother character of Niharika. Since the mother role has very much importance in the film, makers could think of only Ramya Krishna.

The buzz is that the movie has been titled as ‘Oka Manasu’, which is set to launch on 30th October with a formal pooja ceremony. Naga Shourya is pairing opposite Niharika in the movie. Madhura Sreedhar and TV 9 Studio are jointly producing this movie.

It will be the biggest launch ever for a heroine in Telugu film industry as we don’t often see the daughters of stars turning up as lead heroines.

With the recent rumours blowing about Niharika Konidela (22) making her debut in films, speculations rose weather who will be directing her film, who will be her first hero. Niharika, who is the daughter of Mega Brother Naga Babu and nephew of Mega Star Chiranjeevi, was recently roped into a film.

Naga Babu, who got first consulted by Mallela Theeramlo Sirimalle Chettu director Ramaraju, was taken away by the story the he was narrated. With having a mesmerising screenplay in the story, Naga Babu agreed to put his daughter in the hands of Ramaraju for her first film.

This film is rumoured of being produced by a popular news channel in Telugu will also stars Naga Shourya. Naga Shourya was seen in a couple of films in Telugu and earned the impression as a good actor.

This untitled film will be co-produced by Madhura Sreedhar, who is a producer noted for making sensible youthful romantic movies.

Let’s wait and see whether the rumors are true and if Niharika Konidela is being launched under Rama Raju’s direction.

Niharika Konidala, daughter of Naga Babu is expected to take the responsibility of her dad to produce films on Anjana Productions. It is known that Niharika is a mass communication student. She worked with MAA TV for a while and later on came on to the small screen with Dhee Juniors small screen show.

There are chances for this anchor to take up the production activities of her dad’s Anjana Productions. With the film “Orange”, this production company stopped its operations. Naga Babu literally got struck with huge loss due to that venture.
