This particular tweet evoked a mixed response from everyone. While a section of netizens endorsed what Vishnu tweeted, some TDP fans found fault with it.

Director Ram Gopal Varma has announced recently that his film Lakshmi’s NTR will release all over Andhra Pradesh on May 1st, after getting the permission denied to release on 29th March, by the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. But as the release is just a couple of days away, RGV planned to organize a press meet in Vijayawada.

First, he thought of addressing the press in Novotel Hotel but he didn’t get the permission for it. Later, he shifted the venue to NTR Circle in Singhnagar area. When he was going to meet the people over there, he was taken into custody by the Police. The cops said that the meeting of RGV might create disturbances and hence, they have taken him into custody.

Meanwhile, RGV condemned the act of Police and stated it as a conspiracy made by TDP. He tweeted a series of tweets, ambushing his anger on TDP and stated that democracy has been killed in Andhra Pradesh. We have to see how much more controversies will this film make before its release.

The failure of NTR: Kathanayakudu has pushed both Balakrishna and director Krish into serious retrospection and now, they are taking their own sweet time to release the sequel, Mahanayakudu. Both of them are sitting on the edit table daily to make sure that the film is crisp and to the point, unlike the first part.

On the other side, we hear that the first copy of Mahanayakudu will be shown to Chandrababu Naidu soon. As his character will play a major role in the film, Balayya wants to show it to him before the release. Rana Daggubati played the role of Chandrababu Naidu in the film.

Meanwhile, according to the reports, the makers are now planning to release the film on March 1st on the occasion of Mahasivaratri. The film features Vidya Balan as the female lead and Kalyan Ram, Rana, and Sumanth in other key roles.

After a serious of biopics on political leaders, like NTR, Accidental Prime Minister and Thackeray are out in theatres, another film based on the legendary politician is gearing up for the release soon. Made on the life of former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajashekhar Reddy, the film Yatra is set to release worldwide on February 8.

Directed by Mahi V Raghav, Yatra features Malayalam superstar Mammootty in YSR’s role. Speaking about the film, Mahi said that he took inspiration from YSR’s life and made this film in a cinematic way. Thus, it is not exactly a biopic. The film only features main incidents in the life of YSR.

When asked about the role of Chandrababu Naidu in the film, Mahi said that he didn’t require Babu’s role for the story he has in mind and hence, the film will not feature Babu’s part. Noted actors like Jagapathi Babu and Anasuya played pivotal roles in this much-anticipated film.

NTR Kathanayakudu is one exciting movie which is currently in the theatres. The film is the biopic on the life of NTR and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu caught up with a special show of the movie last night and has penned the review of the movie.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan flew down to Hyderabad after completion of the Bulgarian schedule for his upcoming film in Trivikram’s direction. As per the latest reports, Pawan flew down via Dubai, and he was accompanied by his children Akira, Aadya, and wife Anna.

It is learnt that Pawan will take a short break from shootings over this month end. He will take part in a symposium on Uddanam kidney disease patients with doctors from the Harvard Medical College and the KGH Hospital, Vizag.

The meeting will take place on July 30. On July 31, Pawan will meet AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu to discuss the Uddanam issue.
