Tamil Nadu Nadigar Sangam’s newly elected General Secretary- Vishal, has already started facing heat. He won over Sarath Kumar’s team has flooded in many vows before the elections. Yesterday Tamilar Munnetra Padai Cadres burnt effigy of actor Vishal in Tamilnadu.

Since the elections being completed and the new panel has already formed, no new reforms still took place.

In opposition over unfulfillment of vows, agitations across Tamil Nadu had begun.

As a part of this Vishal’s effigies were burnt yesterday in Tamil Nadu.

Tamil Nadu Welfare Society has plotted the agitation in Anna Nagar of Chennai. They demanded that the newly elected General Secretary shall take up the responsibility of changing the name from South Artists Association to Tamil Nadu Artists Association.

They further said that it was the request of Rajnikanth who wanted a change in the name of the association. Without doing so, it would be an insult to him.

Vishal, Nasser and Karthi’s Pandavar Ani group was chosen over Sarath Kumar’s camp in the South Indian Artistes Association elections.

Veteran actor Sarath Kumar, whose side lost in the Nadigar Sangam Elections, has conducted a press meet to clarify few things.

He raised the main issue of SPI Cinemas, which has been used as a weapon against him during campaign by opponents, and said that he cancelled the agreement with SPI cinemas on 29th September itself but did not reveal it as opponents might have used it against him.

He added that he worked for Nadigar Sangam as General Secretary and President for 15 years but the corruption rumors on him have disturbed him a lot.

‘I will hand over the audit works of the revenue details to newly elected members in 10 days’, added the actor.

As the Nadigar Sangam Elections are fast approaching, to be held on 18th of this month, the rival groups have intensified their verbal war.

The incumbent president Sarath Kumar’s group has conducted a press meet at a star hotel and at the event, actor Simbu, who is running for the Vice-President post, has criticized Vishal, the leader of opposition group. Simbu alleged that Vishal is trying to divide Nadigar Sangam as he is bringing in his personal issue into the Sangam and using other actors to defame legends like Vijayakanth, Sarath Kumar, etc.

‘It seems that he is not impressed by the good works done by Sarath Kumar while he was president, and he has been raising only the one or two mishaps that happened’ said Simbu.

Meanwhile, Vishal is also taking the support from Tollywood actors Balakrishna and Chiranjeevi on Nadigar Sangam Elections. This election also looks like MAA Elections in Tollywood.

Popular Tamil actor and Hero Sarath Kumar had fired over Kamal Hassan over his support to “Pandavar Ani” group headed by Vishal in elections of the South Indian Film Artists, or the Nadigar Sangam.

In Detail: Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan has openly given his support to Vishal, Nasser and Karthi’s group “Pandavar Ani” in the Nadigar Sangam. Kamal, by doing so has indirectly locked horns the group that is lead by Sharath Kumar. Miffed by Kamal’s act, Sharath Kumar accused him of not being thankful for supporting him in crisis.

This film election in Tamil Nadu has become no lesser than general elections.

Sharath Kumar outraged over Kamal and said in the media meet that “Kamal Haasan has been the man behind all this from the start. I have personally worked hard for him. He should ask his conscience. Has he even thanked me for it? He must think about it. When the Uttama Villain controversy was on, I worked for 36 hours without sleep to make sure the movie released.”

Nadigar Sangam election scheduled on October 18th has a new twist with Kamal Hassan supporting Vishal’s “Pandavar Ani”.

With Kamal supporting Vishal and Sharath Kumar accusing of ungratefulness, who will win the election has become the preferred topic across Tamil Nadu.

It is well known that two groups (Vishal and Sarath Kumar) involving in upcoming Nadigar Sangam elections 2015 in Kollywood have been criticizing each other and taking the issue to the court with laws suits and apology seeking.
Actress turned politician Roja, who also is an active member of Nadigar Sangam, has stated that this battle kind of elections atmosphere will bring harm to everyone involved.

She added ‘No one should forget the services done by the likes of Vijaykanth, Sarath Kumar, Radha Ravi etc to bail out the sangam, which was struggling in debts. At the same time, we can’t take light the comments made by Vishal’s camp. The issue must be sorted out sensibly rather than using criticizing words’.

Recently Sarath Kumar threatened to file Rs 10 Crore lawsuit against Vishal for his derogatory remarks against him.
