Malayalam beauty Manjima Mohan forayed into films with the movie Oru Vaddakan Selfie. She acted opposite star hero Nivin Pauly in that comedy-drama. But she got fame after acting in director Gautham Menon’s bilingual love thriller, Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada (Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo in Telugu).

She was recently seen as Nara Bhuvaneshwari in the film NTR: Mahanayakudu. Meanwhile, while speaking in a recent interview, Manjima stated that she was supposed to act in the web series made on the life of late actress turned politician Jayalalitha. This web series is being produced by Gautham Menon.

Manjima said that she was the first choice to play Jaya’s role as she shares many similarities with the former. But as she was busy with three projects, she couldn’t allocate the three-month dates asked by the show producers. Thus, he had to leave the offer. Currently, she is prepping up for the release of her next Tamil film, Devarattam, which will hit the screens on the 1st of May.

Manjima Mohan surprised us all with her impressive debut with Gautham Menon’s Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo which is titled Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada in Tamil. It was a dream launch for her in the South Indian movies.

It was expected that Manjima would receive more offers, but things did not go well. Manjima is now roped in Devarattam opposite Gautham Karthik which will be directed by Muthaiya. Talking to a media house, Manjima explains that she had been confused regarding what factor the directors opt the heroines. “Some of the makers want healthy ladies, while some of them want lean and fit ones. I am confused. I am happy that my directors are ok with how I am”, Manjima said reportedly.

Manjima Mohan is one actress who made her debut with the film Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo. She did not get more opportunities after that in Telugu but she did a couple of Tamil films. She was seen in Kshatriyan with Vikram Prabhu. Apart from that, she is currently very much busy with an interesting film Ippudai Vellum with Udayanidhi Stalin.

The Kerala beauty is said to be in a relationship with the actor Rishikesh who was seen as a brother for Dhanush in the film Raghuvaran Btech. Apparently, both of them are dating each other and were regularly seen in the coffee shops of Tamil film industry. As of now, both of them are silent on this and no one has responded to the rumours yet.

Gautham Vasu Dev Menon directorial “Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo” has reached its final stage of filming. Its last schedule has begun on 11th of October and will complete by the end of this week. This film’s audio will be launched in the next month whereas the movie in December, said the makers.
