Malayalam beauty Manjima Mohan forayed into films with the movie Oru Vaddakan Selfie. She acted opposite star hero Nivin Pauly in that comedy-drama. But she got fame after acting in director Gautham Menon’s bilingual love thriller, Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada (Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo in Telugu).
She was recently seen as Nara Bhuvaneshwari in the film NTR: Mahanayakudu. Meanwhile, while speaking in a recent interview, Manjima stated that she was supposed to act in the web series made on the life of late actress turned politician Jayalalitha. This web series is being produced by Gautham Menon.
Manjima said that she was the first choice to play Jaya’s role as she shares many similarities with the former. But as she was busy with three projects, she couldn’t allocate the three-month dates asked by the show producers. Thus, he had to leave the offer. Currently, she is prepping up for the release of her next Tamil film, Devarattam, which will hit the screens on the 1st of May.
