Actress Lakshmi Manchu has started off her career in Telugu with a TV show. After enthralling the audience with her hosting skills, she ventured into feature films with Siddharth’s Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu. Since then, she has been doing character-driven films irrespective of their performance at the box office.

Now, this Manchu lady is all set to make her debut in digital medium with a web series titled, Mrs. Subbalakshmi. The show is going to be aired on Zee5 from March 8, on the occasion of Women’s day. Directed by Vamsi of Dongata fame, this series is going to be an out and out comedy caper.

It deals with the story of a wife who spends her anniversary night alone without the company of her husband when the latter actually forgets the occasion. Srinivas Avasarala will be seen as the husband while actors like Venu Tillu and Mahesh Vitta played other important roles in it.

Manchu Lakshmi is currently busy with the shooting of her new movie. She is getting ready with an interesting concept. The regular shoot of the film started long back and the makers announced the title of the movie now. The film is titled as Wife of Ram. The makers have felt that it is an apt title for the movie.

The makers were happy with the response to the title. The post-production activities are currently in progress. Manchu Lakshmi’s role is said to be a different one in the film. Vijay who earlier worked with SS Rajamouli is the director of the film. The film is being produced by Kriti Prasad, Anand and others under People Media Factory. Samrat Reddy, Adarsh Balakrishna, Srikanth Ayyar and others played the leads.

Actress Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna is ready for experiments and different subjects. She is now working on an interesting project. She is going to be seen as a young judge in her upcoming film, and the film’s regular shooting is currently progressing in Hyderabad. The film is apparently titled as Lakshmi Bomb.

As of now, the makers were happy with the film shoot, and they have planned to wrap up the entire shoot in a single schedule. Lakshmi Bomb is tipped to be an interesting comedy thriller. Lakshmi Manchu’s role in the film will be highly impressive and expected to reveal her performance skills. Joshi is handling the cinematography for ‘Lakshmi Bomb’. The film stars Hema, Posani Krishna Murali and few others in the lead roles.

Mega Powerstar Ram Charan has been roped in to champion the cause of safety for women in the state of Telangana. The Police has been long striving to make Telangana a safe place for women and has now gained support from the Ram Charan to spread the message of empowering women with the knowledge on their right to safety.

Ram Charan along with top police officials of the state of Telangana, launched a special legal awareness campaign and conducted a self-defence workshop for around 2000 women and girls. A new website for She teams has also been launched.

Hyderabad CP Mahender Reddy and actress Manchu Lakshmi have also graced the event.Speaking to the press, Ram Charan heaped praises on the police for launching She Team. Incidentally, Ram Charan is playing the cop’s role in his upcoming film ‘Dhruva’.

‘Dhruva’ is an official remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Thani Oruvan’. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead. Hip Hop Tamizha are composing the music of the movie. The film is being directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Mega Producer Allu Aravind on Geetha Arts. The movie is scheduled to hit the screens on August 5th.

Young Tiger Jr.NTR starrer film “Rabhasa” is hitting the screens tomorrow all over the world. Before the film release, this flick came on to the headlines for a bad reason. Film producer Bellamkonda Suresh and Manchu Family filed cases on one another regarding the Garndharwa Mahal set issue.

As per the details, Manchu Lakshmi, who owns this set gave it to lease for Suresh’s “Rabhasa”. As per the contract, Suresh has to pay 58 lakhs for using this set for 45 days shooting. This is what we all know from the past few days. Now, an interesting issue came on to the media. It seems that Suresh already paid 40 lakhs to Manchu Family as advance.

“Rabhasa” producer is now facing tough time from Manchu Lakshmi’s people. As per the reports, “Rabhasa” film maker Suresh booked “Oo Kodathara Ulliki Padathara” film set for “Rabhasa”. It is known that this set belongs to Manchu Family and the film is giving this set for rent to the film units.

Suresh initially agreed to give 58 lakhs for the shooting in this set but he finally turned down the amount soon after the shooting. Buzz raised in the media that Suresh ignored or delayed the payment due to series of investments in the films. People who worked for this set are now taking this seriously.

They did Dharnas in front of Suresh’s house and the situation turned critical at one point of time. Police force entered the arena and shattered the angry mob. They stated that they won’t allow producer to release the flick until he settles the money.

Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna and her Husband Andy Srinivasan are busy with their works, so Manchu Lakshmi’s brother Vishnu and his twin daughters turned care takers for Lakshmi’s little baby. Lakshmi Prasanna is very happy about her family for taking care of her child while she is busy and she also posted the same on her twitter page.
