Prakash Raj Angry On Telugu Audience

Senior actor Prakash Raj, who has failed yet again as a director with ‘Mana Voori Ramayanam,’ seems to be venting anger at Telugu audiences for the lackluster performance of his film.

Prakash Raj has complained that the taste of Telugu audiences has not evolved yet and they must learn to appreciate good cinema from Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam audiences. ‘They show a duty and responsibility to preserve good film welcoming new concepts. Somehow, the same section is at minority proportion in Telugu. It should be the duty of younger generation to preserve their culture and sustain it for coming generations. Somewhere, we are going on degradation. I want Telugu viewers to be aggressive and promote good films,’ Prakash Raj reportedly commented.

How the senior actor could forget the recent successes of Bichagadu, Pelli Choopulu, etc. Telugu movie lovers opine that first the senior actor must evolve and come up with pleasing content to score hits.

Mana Oori Ramayanam Review

Mana Voori Ramayanam is the latest film which released today. Along with three other films, Mana Voori Ramayanam is also in the box office race. Versatile actor Prakash Raj has played the lead role in the film along with directing and producing the film. The film has Priyamani playing the female lead. Satya Dev and 30 years Prudhvi played other important roles in the film. Maestro Ilaiyaraja is the music director of the film. Abhishek Pictures have grabbed the theatrical rights for the film. The film has been watched and here we present our review on the film.

Story:

Bhujangaih (Prakash Raj) is one of the most respected persons in his village. Every individual in the village has high regards for him. But one fine day out of frustration with family, he hires a prostitute (Priyamani) with the help of a friend Shiva (Satya Dev). Bhujangaiah takes the prostitute to a small shop near his house and gets locked from outside. Shiva who was supposed to open the door gets arrested by the police officials and Bhujangaiah gets locked with the prostitute for one whole night and what happens that night forms the plot line of the film. Also, to know whether Bhujangaiah came out successfully or not, we must watch the film.

Performances:

Both the lead actors gave amazing performances in the film. Versatile actor Prakash Raj proved his versatility again by showing dual variations of Lord Rama and Ravana in the character he played. Without going over board in terms of emotions, Prakash Raj restricted himself to an extent which appears to be real. Also Priyamani lived in the character of a prostitute. With so much of ease, the actress put a decent performance. She has got good scope to perform in this film after a long time. Satya Dev looks decent and innocent in terms of looks. He also played his role perfectly and left a positive impression. Prudhvi Raj has got a completely different role in the film and he also did justice for the role.

Writing Department & Technical Departments:

The writing is so good that the emotions appear to be natural. Prakash Raj has taken the soul from the original and has adopted beautifully for our Telugu audiences. The dialogues are also so simple. The cinematography of the film is brilliant. The editing was good. The title song is impressive. Ilaiyaraja’s background score is top notch. The technical departments of the film worked well to generate the best output for the film.

Highlights

  • Lead Actors Performances

Minus

  • Slow Narration
  • No Commercial Elements

Verdict:

Man Oori Ramayanam is a film that happens with everyone. The dual shades of a person has been explained in the film so well using the Ramayana angle. The film deals with the natural emotions and gives us a good feel in the end. The major drawback of the film is that it lacks commercial elements which means that the film is not for all kinds of audiences. The film runs on a slow pace and hence it fails to appeal for some classes of people. Prakah Raj’s superb performance is a highlight in the film. Not regularly we see such films and also this was a honest attempt of describing human behaviour in the best possible and engaging way. With some other films at the box office this weekend, Mana Voori Ramayanam might not be given the scope to have a successful run but still the film won’t disappoint you if you are on for a very good and honest film. Go with low expectations and you will come out with happiness.

Dussehra Season Begins With 4 Releases

The Dussehra season has finally kick-started. The film releases formed a line, and here we arrive to the biggest Friday of the season. There are four releases like Premam, Eedu Gold Ehe, Abhinetri and Mana Voori Ramayanam hitting the theatres.

Premam is the film that is carrying a lot of expectations from everyone. The film unit expected this from the beginning. Naga Chaitanya, Shruti Haasan, Madonna and Anupama played the lead roles in the film. On the other side, Sunil’s Eedu Gold Ehe is also coming in the race to test the luck. Both the films are going to create an impact at the box office when compared with the other releases.

Abhinetri is a trilingual and tipped to be an horror drama. The trailer and other promos failed to create an interest in the film. Mana Voori Ramayanam is a bilingual from Prakash Raj. The same is the case here too. Poor promotions and less buzz killed the interest on the film. The upper hand at the box office would certainly rest with Premam as per initial expectations. Nikhil Kumar Gowda’s Jaguar movie releasing today.
