The world Telugu Conference was held at Hyderabad grandly and all talented actors were grandly felicitated by the Telangana Government. Telangana and Andhra Pradesh state Governor ESL Narasimhan has felicitated the movie actors and actress with shawl and memento.

Speaking at the event Chiranjeevi had said that “Telangana CM KCR is working hard to revive the Telugu language.” He had spoken about the importance of language and said that “everyone should speak Telugu as it is mother tongue.” He added that “we don’t why Telugu people don’t speak Telugu language and I am ensuring that all my grandsons and granddaughters speak in Telugu”.

During his speech, Chiru also narrated the incident when he apologized to KTR. “When KTR invited me for this event, I immediately agreed to attend. During our conversation, I congratulated him on winning a prestigious award recently. To that, he said, Anna..(Brother), how pertinent it is to wish me in ‘English’ when I came to invite you for ‘Telugu’ mahasabhalu. Although he just joked, I realized that we knowingly or unknowingly neglect our mother tongue. I apologized to him then and there.

How heartening it will be to talk in pure Telugu instead of English or any other convoluted language when two Telugu persons meet. I wish every Telugu person strive for the preservation of our language,” the Megastar concluded his speech.

Lakshmi Manchu, on the occasion of Vinayaka Chavithi and the festival celebrations in Hyderabad, penned a heart felt letter to TRS Minister KTR. The actress, sharing the letter on social media, said, “Here’s my heartfelt letter on the eve of #GaneshChaturthi. Guys, do share & support if you feel the same.”

In the letter, she wrote, “The Ganesh festival is not treated as a religious affair anymore but a competition! Every locality is putting all their energy into outdoing the other in the context of the grandeur of the celebrations. I suggest that there be a local Pandal among localities. This will not only encourage unity but also reinstate the motive of celebrating together and safeguard the tradition.

Handlooms have brought KTR and Pawan Kalyan together to the extent of taking a selfie together. However, the relation between Telangana Information Technology minister KT Rama Rao and actor-politician Pawan Kalyan has not gone down so well among fans of KTR.

Pawan Kalyan’s latest film Katamarayudu released on Friday to mixed reactions from the film-going public. On Sunday, KTR tweeted a selfie with Pawan Kalyan saying, “Watched KatamaRayudu. Appreciate the subtle but strong promotion of handlooms.” “You have a sure winner,” the minister commented about the movie tagging Pawan Kalyan and producer Sharath Marrar in his tweet.

Pawan Kalyan who is also active on Twitter did not react to the selfie that KTR posted on Twitter but producer Sharrath Marar did. “Thank you very much for your words of appreciation KTR garu.I am so glad that you liked Katamarayudu,” he said.

KTR has appointed Samantha after coming to know about her social services to many people. Samantha has recently visited the Dubbak and enquired about the problems of handloom weavers. She also checked the various types of clothes available in that area. After a gap, she has been to Pochampalli on 15th of this month and spent some time with weavers to know the weaving of special types. Knowing about her tours as an ambassador, IT Minister KTR yesterday took his Twitter to acknowledge her act. He said that it’s a great start as an ambassador and wished her all the best.
