On August 12th, the young director Ravikanth of Kshanam fame got engaged to his girlfriend Veena Ghantasala, the granddaughter of legendary singer Ghantasala, in Chennai. Apparently, it was love at first sight for the director when he met her on the sets of Kshanam.

As per the reports, the wedding will take place on November 11 in Chennai. However, sharing his love story, Ravikanth says, “I fell in love the moment I saw her. We met on the sets of Kshanam when I was looking for a dubbing artiste for my film’s leading lady Adah Sharma. Soon, we began to interact frequently and after a couple of years, I proposed to her. She did not agree immediately but took her time to say yes. Soon we convinced both our parents for the marriage, and things went well.”

Chennai-based Veena is the daughter of noted dubbing artist Ratna Kumar. (son of legendary singer Ghantasala). She has crooned several hit numbers and also dubs for actresses.

Actor Rana Daggubati was all praise for the latest critical and commercial blockbuster of Tollywood, ‘Kshanam’.

Speaking at a press meet organized at Prasad Labs, Rana said, ‘I watched this film along with Allu Arjun. I couldn’t guess which twist is going to come next. The film was extraordinary, on par with Hollywood films. Makers gave a technically sound film with a shoe-string budget. I hope that more such films come in Tollywood’.

The event was attended by Manchu Lakshmi, Producer PVP, lead actors of the film Adivi Sessh, Adah Sharma, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Sathyam Rajesh, director of the film Ravikanth Perepu, Music director of the film Sri Charan and few others.

Made with a low budget, Kshanam is garnering universal acclaim from day one. The film is expected to bring huge profits to PVP. We already hear that many producers are competing to grab the remake rights of the film.

Beautiful actress Adah Sharma who landed in Tollywood with Puri Jagannath directorial ‘Heart Attack is gearing to show her immense acting skills in her upcoming film ‘Kshanam’.

Produced by PVP Cinema, the film is said to be a mystery thriller and is slated to hit screens on 26th of this month. Adivi Sesh Played lead role while Anasuya Bharadwaj has essayed a pivotal role.

Talking about her role, Adah Sharma said, ‘this is a different film, and there is huge scope for every character to perform. I played the role of mother of a 3-year-old girl. The story spans nine years, and it keeps shuffling between past and present. I played a college girl in the past episodes. Adivi Sesh will be seen as my lover in the college and an investigator at present’.

The trailer has impressed, and the film is carrying good reports.
