Recently, the makers have released few working stills of Kabali. Rajini and Radhika Apte steal the show with their aged-avatars in the images and these still are going viral on the internet. Rajinikanth will be seen in dual roles in the film. He is sporting a salt and pepper look for the gangster role and the first look posters received a thumping response from the audience. Radhika Apte will be seen as Rajini’s wife in the film. Dhansika is doing the role of a Gangster in the film. Ranjith Pa is the director for the film. Santosh Narayanan is the music composer and Kalaipuli S Thanu is producing the film.

Superstar Rajinikanth has today undergone a routine health checkup at MIOT hospital in Chennai following his return from Malaysia after finishing a hectic schedule of his forthcoming movie “Kabali”.

Today morning, Rajinikanth went to the private hospital along with his daughter. Following few routine health checkups, he was discharged in the evening, said the sources. The 65-year-old star hero has been advised to take one week rest before he starts shooting.

Rajinikanth will next join the sets of sensational filmmaker Shankar’s “2.0”. Said to the sequel to blockbuster “Endhiran”, “2.o” has sexy Amy Jackson playing the leading lady. This much-expected film also marks the Tamil film debut of Akshay Kumar.

With Rs 350 Crore budget, it is said to be the highest budgeted movie ever made in India. The film is expected to shatter all box office record after its release.

Superstar Rajinikanth, who recently wrapped the shooting for his forthcoming film Kabali, is on a mission to enthrall his fans with his movies. As per the latest reports, Rajini is showing keen interest to be part of the remake of the hit Malayalam movie, ‘Bhaskar The Rascal’, which starred Mammootty and Nayanthara in the lead roles.

Irrespective of the release dates, Rajinikanth’s films open phenomenally at the box office. He doesn’t have to postpone his movies for any reason but now Rajinikanth himself has heard to have requested the makers of ‘Kabali’ to postpone the release date.

“Kabali” is in the last leg of production and makers are aiming at an April 2016 release. But, Tamil Nadu assembly elections are also falling in the same month so Rajini opines that releasing a film in election season is not wise. He requested his producers to postpone the release date of the film to May.

Rajini is keen to make a grand comeback with this young filmmaker Ranjith directorial Kabali. Featuring him as a retired don, Kabali has Radhika Apte as his wife and Dhansika as his daughter.

Superstar Rajinikanth, who doesn’t use his Twitter Account for normal reasons, has the other day posted a tweet praising the 5th February released Tamil crime drama film ‘Visaranai’.

Rajinikanth, who is currently in Malaysia busy shooting ‘Kabali’, took to twitter to appreciate this hard hitting crime film calling it a never before seen experience. He hailed the film on par with international standards.Visaranai is directed by National Award-winner Vetrimaaran and produced by actor Dhanush.

After watching the special premiere show of the film arranged for celebrities, superstar couldn’t get itout of his mind even after days.It is based on a Tamil book titled ‘Lock Up’ authored by Chandrakumar, an autodriver.The book deals with the brutality of AP police.

The film was even screened at the prestigious Venice Film Festival in 2015.

Makers of Superstar Rajinikanth’s‘Kabali’ are considering Chinese martial arts star Jet Li to play a crucial role in the movie.

‘Kabali’ has already completed most few major schedules including big schedules in Malaysia and Goa. Now, Kabali makers approached Jet Li to play a crucial role with negative shades. Makers have already chosen other Chinese actors like Donny Yen (IP Man series fame) and Chow Yun Fat (Pirates of Caribbean fame) if Jet Li says no. One of the above-mentioned actors is going to play the key role for sure.

Ace director Rajamouli has revealed how it will be if he helms Superstar Rajinikanth in a film.

Addressing a gathering at IIT Chennai, Baahubali maker said that he has no idea what kind of character he creates for the superstar, but he will make sure the audience will not be able to hear the dialogues for ten days after the release of the film. Rajamouli meant that audience would not be able to hear the dialogues due to the continuous whistles, chants and claps from fans.

Considering the image of Rajini and Rajamouli, both commanding mass hysteria, the result will be more or less similar. With Baahubali, the stardom of Rajamouli has reached the international level and the second part of Baahubali is the much-awaited movie of next year.

The shooting of Baahubali 2 is in progress now in RFC, Hyderabad.

The makers of superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming gangster drama ‘Kabali’ are heard to be planning to organize the audio launch event in Malaysia on a grand scale. Although the exact date and venue of the event are not known yet, it will be early next year.

It is well known that major portion of the flick was shot in Malaysia, and the fact that Rajinikanth has a solid fan following in the country paved the idea for the audio launch event to be held there.

Super Star Rajinikanth, who turns 65 on 12th of December, has decided to cancel all his birthday celebrations this time, because of the floods that hit the Chennai, which left people in a lot of pain.

Rajinikanth, who is far away from grand celebrations, always does his birthday on a low note with his family. This time Rajini won’t be doing that too. The family, friends and his fans who thought of celebrating this birthday on a grand note, were all left a little disappointed as Rajni urged them to cancel the birthday celebrations as a mark of empathy towards the Chennai flood victims.

As present Rajnikanth is staying in Chennai and doing his bit to the flood affected victims. He cancelled his ‘Kabali’ shooting in Malaysia and returned home last week. He earlier announced a compensation of Rs10 Lakh to the victims.

On the other hand, ‘Robo2’ which shooting should take off on December 12th is also halted. Rajnikanth felt that this wouldn’t be a good time to launch his film, as people all over the Chennai are in pain grief.

Two superstars of Tamil cinema, Rajinikanth and Vijay came forward to offer shelter for the victims of Tamil Nadu floods. Since many people have lost homes due to rains, Rajini and Vijay offered their respective Kalyana Mandapams as a temporary stay.

Rajinikanth’s Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Kodambakkam and Shoba Kalyana Mandapam in Saligramam of Vijay, have been offered by the two superstars for people. Rajnikanth has already donated Rs 10 Lakh for the relief of the victims.

It is known that the tentative release date of Mahesh Babu’s next, ‘Brahmotsavam’ is 8th April 2016. However, sources have now revealed that the makers have decided to push the release date of the film to April 29 to avoid the clash with Rajnikanth starrer ‘Kabali, which is set to hit screens on April 10, 2016.

This film is set to rule the theatres from Summer 2016.

Kollywood Actress Dhansika, who was seen in minor roles in few Tamil films, is now aiming big. She saw a change in her luck after accepting the role of Rajinikanth’s daughter in ‘Kabali,’ has once again show that luck is in her favour after she is being finalised in Maniratnam’s next.

This film of Mani Ratnam’s took a lot of twists and turns before having a final shape. After the hit of ‘O Kadhal Kanmani,’ Mani who aimed of making a bilingual with Tollywood actors Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu,  couldn’t do so because of the remuneration issue. Later on Mani opted for Karthi, Dulquer Salman, Nithya Menon and Keerthi Suresh to proceed with the film.

After all he was once again halted because of the lack of dates of Salman and Keerthy. With this Maniratnam was rumoured of dropping this bilingual drama, but to prove this news as a wrong one, the ace director opted for two other actors who will now replace Salmaan and Keerthi.

Maniratnam approached Tollywood actor Nani and Tamil Actress Dhansika. With such huge director approaching them, Nani and Dhansika simple allotted their dates even without discussing their remuneration.

This film will be officially announced sooner.

A Defamation case was logged against Super Star Rajinikanth for insulting the Judges while speaking in public. Janakiraman of PMK party who is also a lawyer by profession is the plaintiff who registered the filed the complaint regarding this.

Rajnikanth, who attended the Commemorative Stamp in Honor of Justice Kailasam last month, said that ‘Judiciary is the last resort of people. If it gets polluted, it will lead to pollution of the entire nation.’ This statement of his irked lawyer Janakiraman, who filed the defamation case saying that how can a person of such stature could talk like that, his words were defaming the respect that every law person is holding.

Rajinikanth’s speech indirectly resembled as suggestions to Judges, Janakiraman said. Because of his remarks, people will lose their confidence in courts and lawmakers, added Janakiraman.

Even after lodging a complaint over Rajinikanth on 30th September in Ranipeta police station, there was no further action from the police, claimed Janaki Raman.
