Many Bollywood celebs have been named in the Call Record Scam initiated by Thane police after Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Celebrity Rizwan Siddiqui’s name has cropped up in this racket after the police arrested a few private investigators in and around the city.

Now, two big names, Tiger Shroff’s mother Ayesha Shroff and Kangana Ranaut have been cropped up in this. According to the police, Kangana messaged Siddiqui Hrithik Roshan’s personal number to acquire call details for the same. Ayesha, on the other hand, submitted the call details procured from investigators to the lawyer back in 2014 when she was embroiled in legal battle with Sahil Khan, who claimed to have been in a relationship with her.

According to reports, Ayesha Shroff’s name surfaced when they went through records and hard disks of Siddiqui’s laptops and documents from his office. She had provided the illegally procured CDR of Khan to Siddiqui and it is suspected it could have been misused. The two finally had a settlement in 2015 and dissolved the matter.

Kangana, on the other hand, had a big battle with Hrithik after she called him silly ex in an interview. Well, now since her message to Siddiquee has been acquired, there will be a further probe into the matter to know if call details of Roshan were illegally procured or not.

Made with a budget of 50 crores overall, Rakesh bagged profits up to 80 crores with all rights. The film crosses 100 crores worldwide and sources say that all the domestic and overseas distributors landed in the safe zone. But the recent update in Bollywood reveals that some domestic distributors have approached Rakesh to recover theirs loses and asked him to pay 15 crores back. It is rumored that Rakesh has agreed to pay that amount and check on the accounts to see actual losses.

On the contrary, Rakesh told media that all the distributors are in profit zone as the movie did well. He went further and clarified that these rumors were created and spread by his rivals who were unable to digest the success of Kabil movie.

Story

Rohan Bhatnagar (Hrithik Roshan), a super talented dubbing artiste and Supriya Sharma (Yami Gautham), a pianist who have a well positive look towards their lives despite being blind fall for each other. They decide to marry each other. When they get hitched their love story turns sore as Supriya Sharma is raped by Amit Shellar, who is the brother of politician Madhavrao Shellar (Ronit Roy) and his friend Wasim. With the power he has, Madhavrao manipulates the investigation and makes the case unfavourable for Rohan Bhatnagar. This is where Rohan Bhatnagar decide to take revenge on them. How he take his vengeance form the rest of the story.

Cast and Performance

Hrithik Roshan as Rohan Bhatnagar is awesome and his performance as a blind guy is praiseworthy. He shines in every aspect of his character and it is definitely one of his best performances in his career. Yami Gautam is super as Supriya Sharma and is a delight to watch her with Hrithik Roshan on screen as they maintain superb chemistry between each other. Ronit Roy as Madhavrao Shellar is nice and delivers a fine performance. Narendhra Jha and Suresh Menon are good as police officers. All other artists are good for their roles.

Technical Departments

Songs composed by Rajesh Roshan are good to hear and they are enhanced well by Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautham on screen. Background score is well composed and is apt for the movie and its emotion. Cinematography by Sudeep Chatterjee and Ayanka Bose is superb and they rendered delightful visuals on screen. Editing by Akiv Ali is crispy and good. Sound designed by Resul Pookuty is nice. Stunts and action sequences are well composed. Production values are apt for the film.

Verdict
Kaabil is a film with a story of two blind and talented people who do not give time for their weaknesses to take over them. Their loves story is sweet and they make audience emote with them. We have seen many revenge dramas in past and this one particularly stands out for its fine performances and adrenaline rush mind games. This is a film of Hrithik Roshan who left his stardom at home and performed Rohan Bhatnagar on sets with so ease and convincing. He must be applauded for doing a film like this when he has so much of heroism in him for his looks and body. When Hrithik and Yami Gautham dance on screen we feel delighted with their moves and the mind games between Rohan and Madhavrao are well written and they are well applauded with whistles and shouts. There are a lot of whistle worthy moments in this film when we leave vfx work and some forced scenes. Director Sanjay Guptha who disappointed all with Aishwarya Rai’s comeback film Jazbaa is now in great form with Kaabil which do not disappoint. He has taken a lot of care in making this film interesting and racy. To sum up, watch this Kaabil to experience Hrithik’s finest performance.
