Actress Gautami rubbished speculation that she continues to be associated with actor Kamal Haasan. She tweeted a link to her blog clarifying this, “I categorically state that this is completely false and I have had no contact with Mr. Haasan since we formally parted ways in October of 2016.”

The actress in her post titled — Past is Past — and there are strong reasons for it — stated that she was deeply distressed by recent news items which implied her association with Kamal Haasan.

Her post read, “The period since my walking out has been consumed by my efforts to rebuild a stable and secure environment for my daughter and myself. My single greatest focus during this period has been to establish a stable income to ensure my child’s financial stability.”

She further mentioned that she is yet to recover complete payment for her work from Mr. Haasan and Raajkamal Films International (RKFI) and that despite repeated reminders a significant amount from her salary still remains pending.“During the nearly thirteen years of our life together, the work that I did as Costume Designer, was only for films produced by Raajkamal Films International, (RKFI), and for films that Mr. Haasan made for other producers. And this was my primary source of income as my working both in front of and behind the camera in other’s projects was actively discouraged. In addition to this, it grieves me greatly to have to say that as of October 2016, I had salary dues pending right from earlier films like Dasavatharam, Vishwaroopam, etc.”

“I have chosen to speak out now because the speculation concerning my association with Mr. Kamal Haasan continues unabated. I have absolutely nothing to do with him or his actions in any way – professionally, personally, politically or otherwise. I am a single mother, fighting to build a safe and secure life for my child and I. I have returned to work in front of the camera – which I have greatly missed all these years – and I have found my life’s commitment in my work with my Life Again Foundation,” her statement read.

Senior actress Gautami, who has recently made her comeback to Tollywood screen with ‘Manamantha’ has now hit headlines by writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing malicious agenda behind the death of Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa.

It may be recalled that Jaya had fought for 74 days in hospital before succumbing to illness. Gautami questioned why doctors kept her condition a secret for so many days?

Actress Shruti Haasan has responded post her father Kamal Haasan’s break-up with senior actress Gautami, after 13 years of live-in relationship.

Soon after Gautami announced her decision to part ways with Kamal Haasan, a number of rumors started doing rounds saying that the much publicized tiff between Shruti and Gautami over the costumes for ‘Sabhash Naidu’, has led to the separation of the senior actors.

Shruti has now released a press statement saying she was never the reason for her father’s break-up with Gautami. ‘It was their personal decision. What matters to me is only my parents and sister. I don’t care much about the baseless rumors,’ Shruti added.

Kamal Haasan has also opened up after this official conformation and said that he respects the decision of Gautami and he always hopes for her happiness, wherever she is.

Actress Gautami, who has been having a live-in relationship with Universal hero Kamal Haasan for 13 years, has announced their mutual decision of parting ways.

Gautami has shared a lengthy post on her blog to announce this devastating decision. She, however, didn’t say a single negative word about Kamal and instead praised him to the sky. ‘With varying paths ahead in the life, we have decided to end our relationship,’ says Gautami.

The duo met for the first time in 1989 on the sets of Singeetham Srinivasa Rao’s ‘Apoorva Sahodarulu.’ Gautami married a businessman in 1998, but she divorced him within a year. She, however, has a daughter with him. Since 2003, she has been in a live-in relationship with Kamal and got his support when she was diagnosed with cancer at 35.

Their decision to go separate ways is definitely an unexpected one.

Seductress Shruti Haasan was quick to clarify the rumors surrounding her rift with Gauthami.

Several rumors are doing rounds about Shruti’s disagreement with Gautami, who is working as the costume designer of ‘Sabash Naidu’, which also stars Kamal Haasan. It is heard that Shruti was not satisfied with the costumes selected for her by Gauthami so a cold war has started between the two. Keeping this brief in mind, Gautami brought in a set of clothes for Shruti when the look test was happening in the pre-production stage. Styling being a collaborative and subjective effort, needs inputs from the producer, director and the actor and giving the stylist feedback, redoing looks etc is standard procedure. The core team mutually felt the look needed more to be added and specific feedback was shared with Gautami. Being a thorough professional herself, Gautami understood and brought in a new lot of clothes which seemed to work better. Shruti in fact, added in elements from her own closet to help Gautami and to really make the looks pop given that she has lived in LA herself and is someone with a very distinctive sense of style,” stated Shruti Haasan’s statement.

Kamal Haasan is acting for the first time with his daughter Shruti Haasan in the film Sabash Naidu. The makers are very much happy with the way the film’s first schedule wrapped up. Meanwhile, the gossip mongers are circulating the reports that Shruti is feeling uncomfortable with the way Gautami is suggesting costumes for her. Gautami is working as a designer for this film. Kamal Haasan himself directs the film. Shruti does not like the costumes designed by Gauthami, and she is complaining the same.

Manamantha is an upcoming bilingual film, that is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Malayalam, with the Malayalam version titled as Vismayam. It is directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti and produced by Sai Korrapati on Vaaraahi Chalanachitram banner. Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal is seen in the lead role while Gautami is playing the female lead. Mahesh Shankar of D For Dopidi and Bangaru Kodipetta fame composes the tunes for this family entertainer.

Chandra Sekhar Yeleti is one of the underrated directors of Telugu Cinema. His expertise in Screenplay is highly appreciable. Anukokunda Oka Roju, Prayanam movies show how different he is from others. After the film Sahasam, he hasn’t directed any movie and now he makes a come back again with a movie featuring Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal in the lead role.

Superstar Mohanlal after a long time will be seen in a direct Telugu film with Manamantha. While his appearance in ‘Janatha Garage’ is massy, The Malayalam Superstar’s intense look in ‘Manamantha’ directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti stole the show.
