The movie marks Gauthami’s re-entry to Telugu cinema. After having a huge gap, she recently made her comeback to silver screen with Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Paapanaasam’. She accepted to play the lead in ‘Manamantha’ after she was spellbound with the story narrated by acclaimed Tollywood director Chandrasekhar Yeleti.
Said to be an anthology film with four stories running in parallel, the film is being shot in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The movie is also expected to have a simultaneous release in 3 languages with able SaiKorrapati producing it under VaarahiChalanaChitram banner.
With Mohanlal and Gauthami, two of the finest actors teaming for a sensible film, expectations are high. Chandrasekhar Yeleti has already carved a niche for himself with his out-of-the-box movies, and ‘Manamantha’ is expected to become the best of his career.
Mohanlal’sappearance in NTR”s ‘Janatha Garage’ will be massy but the Malayalam Superstar will be seen in a class role in ‘Manamantha.’
