Akshay Kumar is the star hero of Bollywood film industry who is working hard to come up with great subjects. He is known for performing dare devil action sequences in the movies. The actor who is enjoying the stardom in the mainstream Bollywood cinema is all set to mark his entry in the digital space with an exciting web series to be produced by Akshay Kumar.

The official launch of the web series took place in Mumbai recently and Akshay Kumar was pretty much happy to be associated with the web series.

Surprisingly, Akshay Kumar set himself on fire on the stage and it has surprised everyone. Akshay did this to garner special attention to the event. Akshay Kumar revealed that he accepted to do the web series only for his son.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy shooting for his new movie Zero and we have learned that a mishap took place on the sets of the movie. The fire accident apparently happened on the film’s sets at Ramoji Film City.

The makers of Zero have apparently erected a set in the film city where they wanted to shoot a song. All of a sudden, fire has surrounded the area and has occupied the place. The film unit immediately informed the fire department who visited the set immediately to bring the fire under control.

In the mishap, some of the set properties and other things were destroyed. Shah Rukh is also said to have present on the sets when the accident took place.

Directed by Anand L Rai, the film Zero has Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and others in the leads. The movie is scheduled for a grand release on 21st of this month.

A massive fire broke out on the sets of Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Kesari’ at a village in Maharashtra’s Satara district. It is learnt that nobody was hurt. The shooting for the film is taking place at Pimpode Budruk village in Wai tehsil, around 30 km from Satara.

Akshay will essay the character of Havaldar Ishar Singh, the military commander of 21 Sikh regiment, who on September 12, 1897, fought bravely against Afghani invaders in the war which eventually came to be known as the battle of Saragarhi.

Parineeti Chopra, who has also been roped in for the film, will be seen in the role of Eesha, daughter of Ishar Singh while television renowned actor Mohit Raina will be seen playing her fiancé. Directed by Anurag Singh, ‘Kesari’ is slated to hit screens in March next year.

A fire broke out on one floor of the La Mer building in Bandra. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s mother and star cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s in-laws stay in the building.

According to reports, the fire broke out around 1 p.m. There were no casualties, and fire tenders had reached the spot in time to douse the blaze. Eight fire brigades were instantly rushed to the spot to control the fire that broke out on the 13th floor.

Aishwarya and her husband Abhishek Bachchan rushed to the Aish’s mother Vrinda Rai’s house. When contacted, Aishwarya’s spokesperson said, “Aishwarya is grateful and overwhelmed by the concern shown by her well-wishers and thanks them.”

Veteran actor and leading man Suresh Gopi has made a career out of playing outspoken, fiery heroes who stand for liberty and justice and the democratic way. Well, it seems the actor may have been putting a little bit of himself in to his characters or vice versa for years, because he is constantly in news these days for causes and controversies that have nothing to do with cinema!

It was just a few days ago that during a speech at some function, the Commissioner star spoke his heart against the proposed Aranmula Airport project. And during this speech, he had a few choice words for the Honourable Chief Minister of Kerala, Mr Oommen Chandy himself!

The actor said the Chief Minister’s stand ‘for’ the project was anti people and anti environmental well being. He added with gusto that the Chief Minister’s words on the matter were nonsensical and if he doesn’t know the facts about something, he should consult people who know before speaking!

As if that wasn’t enough, he illustrated quite cinematically that the official government stand on the Aranmula Airport issue, makes it look like they want to build the airport on the people’s chests!

Phew! Now those are some packed punches the action hero threw at the Government..

But of course, the party in power in the State is the Indian National Congress, and boy oh boy, they were not happy with the actor. Though they have not come down on Suresh Gopi as a whole, one unit of the party – the Kanhangad unit, to be precise – have started with an official anti Suresh Gopi movement.

Yes, they have said that from henceforth they will take a non cooperative stand against the actor’s movies in Kanhangad. They will not allow any posters of him or his movies to be put up in the area either. This will continue until the hero delivers an unqualified apology to the party and the Chief Minister for his insulting comments.

It is worth mentioning that the actor’s effigies were also burned in several places.

What does the very vocal Suresh Gopi have to say to all this? We do not know yet but one gets the feeling we might not have to wait long to find out…

Manchu Manoj, Who is currently busy with the shooting of his new film “Current Theega” at Ramoji Film City. The film unit canning a fight sequence on Manoj in fire today and suddenly the fire surrounded the actor. Immediately the team reacted and rescued Manoj from the incident with water and dirt available nearby. Manoj also tweeted the same on his Twitter page:

“Finished the fight successfully just now :) almost got burnt… Thank god there was mud all over :-)”

In this movie Rakul Preet Singh is the heroine and porn star Sunny Leone is playing an important role in the flick. The movie is being directed by G.Nageswara reddy and Manchu Vishnu is the producer for this film.

The movie will hit the screens in August this year!!
