Tollywood actors come forward to help the victims of Chennai floods and heroes started donation campaign for Chennai rains victims. Allu Arjun announced that he is giving 25 lakhs to Chennai Flood relief.

Jr NTR also pledged all his fans to help the victims in their possible ways and he is also going to help.

Apart from his on-screen star image, Tamil star Hero Vijay is also known for his off-screen social services. The star has once again come forward to help the people affected by the incessant Chennai rains.

For the last few days, Tamil Nadu has been witnessing heavy rains. The weather department has predicted that the situation will remain same for another two days.

With this, Vijay, who is currently shooting for his upcoming film ‘Theri’, has cancelled the shooting to help the victims of rain. He gave a call to his fans associations to help the victims.

On the film front, directed by Atlee, ‘Theri’ has Samantha and Amy Jackson as female leads. Vijay will be playing a powerful cop in the film.

Not only Vijay and almost all the Kollywood actors come forward to help the victims of Chennai rains. Kollywood actors Siddharth and Kushboo houses also filled with water and few other celebrities also facing the troubles with heavy rains.

Chennai is the struck with heavy floods is now in a devastated situation. Roads, highways and streets are filled up with 3-4 feet of rain water thereby affecting the routine life of people in Chennai. Few areas in Chennai are suffering power loss since three days, while some other areas are receiving no drinking water. People across the nation are praying and doing their bit to help the Tamilnadu people, now are joined by few Tamil actors who are lending their bit of helping hand.

Heroes are using their social networking sites as an effective medium thereby mobilizing the people in need. Hero Siddharth who is active on Twitter wrote “If you can organise food packets in Chennai please contact me. We will have it picked up and delivered.” Siddharth gave his phone number to people via twiiter and asked them to bring in some food packets so that his team can organise those food packets and deliver it to the needy people.

On the other hand director Raghava Lawrence too responded with a big heart to the victims. Lawrence who runs a trust called Raghava Charitable Trust has been a major helping hand for the needy since long time. He announced Rs10 Lakhs to the people who are most affected with floods.

Apart from them other like Khushbu, Aishwarya Dhanush, Anirudh, Soundarya Rajnikanth, Vishal, Amy Jackson and many other film personalities are doing their part by mobilising the people with latest updates on help.
