Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and curly beauty Taapsee Pannu will be soon seen sharing screen space in a movie named Pink.

The actors seem to be having a blast on the sets as the duo is seen taking selfies and uploading on social media much to the entertainment of fans.

First Taapsee clicked a cute selfie sitting next to Bachchan and actress KirtiKulhari. She shared it with the caption: ‘The 3 ‘not so’ ugly ducklings! #shootmadness #thecoolB #whenworkisfun’.

In another selfie, Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee, KirtiKulhari and Andrea Tariang are seen grinning at the camera, and it was posted with a caption ‘So the Rockstars are ready to Roll! (Over samosa, dhokla, kajubarfi and chicken cutlet)’.

This is the first time Taapsee and Amitabh Bachchan will be working together for a film. Pink is directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and produced by Shoojit Sircar.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that he is a TB survivor.

The superstar revealed that he was diagnosed with TB on the day he started shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) in 2000. He recalled it was a time of immense pain and he was on strong medication to relieve from pain.

“In 2000, I was detected with TB and went through a very rigorous treatment for almost a year. I contracted TB on the day I was going to start TV show KBC. It was a TB of spine. It’s very uncomfortable. You cannot sit or lie down. Most of the time, I was on 8-10 pain killers a day just to survive the period when I was anchoring the game show,” the megastar said ahead of World Tuberculosis Day on March 24.

“Many people ask me why I contribute my services to the medical cause. I have had a complicated medical history. One of the reasons I took up TB is because I am a TB survivor,” Big B said.

“The reason I disclosed is that I felt that the word survivor is somehow is a very powerful word. When I say I am TB survivor, it seems like I survived a plane crash or boat sinking. If you survive that, it lends a lot of power and strength to what you are saying deeper. It’s like saying that I have survived it because I went through a process,” he said.

It was commendable from the actor to create awareness among people about the disease.

Amitabh Bachchan said that he lucky left the venue of the Make in India event just before massive fire broke out on Sunday evening.

Amitabh thanked all his fans for sending prayers and asking for his well-being soon after the fire incident. Amitabh walked off to get into his car to leave the place after performing on the stagebut the production team of event asked him to return to meet Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. He politely denied and later made a lengthy post on his blog to explain how it happened.

“I ask to be excused. It would be a breach of protocol, from my side… I would meet up with him later… and leave… Ansms comes to me soon after… ‘Are you safe?’

“I am puzzled, I respond with a yes but why and then come to know of the fire that had immediately after my departure from the stage burst in and has engulfed the entire surrounding… The stage is gutted, it was massive in size, and anxious calls begin to come in, from all those that were seeing the programme on TV live.”

“Thank you all that have inquired from me of my well-being and for all the prayers,” wrote the 73-year-old legend.

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has recently got surprised by a minute earthquake. The star was in Kolkata for shooting of one of his films when he observed a table in front of him shaking.

Although he first thought some maintenance work is in progress in the hotel, he was later informed by the staff that it was a minor earthquake. He added that no damage was done. Big B took to twitter to share this info.

“Sitting on my table in Kolkata and its been shaking for a while .. thinking its some machine work going on .. NO ..Earthquake !!

Hotel staff just confirms and it is an EARTHQUAKE .. !! No damage here .. all well so far .. Hope all else is well elsewhere too !!”, tweeted Bachchan.

Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan has donated his favorite ‘Silsila’ jacket to the needy as a part of cloth donating initiative on Friday.

As a part of ‘Clothes Box’ programme held by Delhi students, Amitabh Bachchan was approached to join this programme that donates old clothes to the needy and poor. Big B, who was impressed with this idea, immediately joined hands with the youngsters and visited an ongoing construction site in Mumbai.

Big B gave away many clothes of his that were lying in his home. While donating the clothes Amitabh, randomly picked by a jacket that was very close to his heart. This was from the 1981 film ‘Siisila’ which Amitabh preserved it as the film remembrance. This jacket is donated to an old construction worker. While giving away this jacket, Amitabh reminded the worker about this jacket.

“Dhoom” series is always fascinating while watching. Even before a sequel of this series starts, gossips run through media with speculations and expectations.

Following “Dhoom” was “Dhoom 2,” which started Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai as the male and female lead. The interesting part of the series is that the negative role of the film has more importance than any other. Hence, heroes opt for such negative character in this series.

It is been eleven years since the first part came. In the first part, it was John Abraham who was the negative lead. Starting from this two more films followed in series.

In the 3rd part, i.e., “Dhoom 3,” it was Aamir Khan who stole the show. The film is taken to another level by Aamir’s performance. Additional to this was Katrina’s glamour. With earning such name and fame the producer’s of Dhoom- Yash Raj Films are planning another part of these thriller series. “Dhoom 4” has begun its pre-production work and will go on to the sets from next year.

Hrithik Roshan, who played the lead in “Dhoom 2,” will once again appear in the negative character for “Dhoom 4.” Interestingly rumours also have that “Big B” Amitabh Bachchan is also doing a role in this film. His role is whether a positive one or a negative one is yet to be confirmed.

Big B Amitabh Bachcchan, who entered 73 yesterday, said that a biopic over his life journey will be a flop if made.

Amitabh Bachchan said that “I always watch my loop holes carefully and try not to repeat them. Yhe current generation in Bollywood is having their style and people are getting attracted towards them. Each and every actor has a unique identity in hindi cinema.

It is a tough question when asked who could replace me. I cannot decide or judge my replacement. Comparing Bollywood with Hollywood isn’t a right thing. Appreciate Hollywood films if you like them, and at the same time be proud of our talent towards acting.

Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are the inspiration to millions. I wish that they live the same way for another 100 years.”

When asked Amitabh about a film on his life, he replied saying “If a film made on me, it would defiantly be a flop. I am not a person upon who you can a biopic. It would happy and satisfactory if a biopic is made on my father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan. He is one person I always looked up to. My father is my inspiration.”

When asked about continuing acting, Amitabh replied saying “I will defiantly continue acting. I will act till my last breath” concluded Amitabh Bachchan.

Legendary Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan has recently been appointed as the brand ambassador of the ‘Save Tiger’ initiative by the Maharashtra government. Saving the tigers that are getting extinct day by day is the aim of this initiative.

The legendary actor was the yesterday returning after attending a program in Mahatma Gandhi National Zoo Park. He was quite terrified, fascinated and surprised when a big tiger chased him for 4kms. He revealed this information by posting on Twitter, “Chased by a Tiger in the heart of Mumbai for 4 kms .. what an experience !! More on this later !!”.

Shoojit’s Piku has a huge star cast and along with Shehenshah it also stars Irrfan Khan, Deepika Padukone, Moushumi Chatterjee and Jishu Sengupta. It is the tale that explores the father and daughter relationship between Bachchan and Padukone’s characters. The second leg of shooting is to commence soon in Kolkata.

After making an impressive debut in Bollywood with Raanjhanaa, Dhanush will be teaming up with none other than megastar Amitabh Bachchan in R Balki’s next untitled project. This will also mark the debut of Akshara Haasan, younger daughter of Kamal Haasan, who will be paired opposite the Kolaveri sensation.

Big B is all excited about this project. He had earlier worked with Balki in some impressive films like Cheeni Kum and Paa, and the duo is set to strike the chord once again.

Dhanush had been choosing projects carefully ever since, in both Bollywood and Tamil domain.

The south actor remains unfazed with his phenomenal success in both the worlds, after metamorphosing into a complete actor with some intense roles. Though the plot of the film is still unknown, we can vouch for the fact that it will be a typical R Balki movie bringing together Megastar and Dhanush in a great setting.

Akshara Haasan is set and raring to go with Bollywood innings with this movie.
