There are several rumours regarding the theatrical rights of the film but the film unit has officially confirmed regarding the theatrical rights for Nizam area. Asian Enterprises have grabbed the rights for the film.

The official Twitter handle of the film Baahubali, confirmed the news by posting, “We are pleased to confirm that Narayan Das Narang and Sunil Narang of Asian Enterprises have acquired the Nizam rights for Baahubali 2.” The film is going to release in April next year.

Young Rebel Star Prabhas will soon have his wax figure immortalized at Madame Tussauds in Bangkok. He will also become the first South Indian actor to have his wax statue at the worldwide famous museum.

SS Rajamouli took to Twitter to announce this news. “Very happy to announce that Madame Tussauds is making a wax statue of our PRABHAS… First South Indian to be honoured thus,” the ‘Baahubali’ director tweeted. “The statue will be unveiled at Bangkok in March 2017 and subsequently will be toured all over the world,” he added.

Other Indian actors to have their wax statue at Madame Tussauds were Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Katrina Kaif. PM Narendra Modi was the last Indian to have its wax statue at Madame. It was installed in April 2016.

The eagerly awaited press meet of ‘Baahubali 2’ unit was held last night and film’s director Rajamouli SS and his team have revealed the key dates and given ample clarity on the progress of the project.

October month is going to be a festival of sorts for the lovers of “Baahubali” series. The trailer of Baahubali movie’s animated series will be released on October 1st on Amazon Prime. Rajamouli said that a huge surprise was on the way on October 5th. He, however, didn’t disclose what it was. He termed it would make Prabhas fans and all the south Indians very proud.

On October 22nd, a day ahead of Prabhas’s birthday, the first look of Baahubali and the first ever comic book of the series will be unveiled. On October 23, Virtual Reality Making video of the movie will be released.

Meanwhile, Baahubali 2 shooting will be wrapped by December. A few scenes and two songs are left to be shot. Film’s first teaser and trailer will release in January 2017, and the film will release in April. Makers also hinted of following up with ‘Baahubali 3’.

The second part of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’ will still take another seven months to hit screens. The story of the film seems to have got leaked on social media and is going viral.

The secret behind the killing of Baahubali at the hands of Kattappa was also leaked. Here is the story as per the post being circulated online.

‘After defeating Kalakeya and his army, Baahubali becomes the emperor of Mahishmati kingdom. Bhallala Deva and Bijjala Deva keep looking for an opportunity to dethrone or possibly eliminate Baahubali. One day, soon after seeing Devasena of Kunthala kingdom, Baahubali falls in love with her. A jealous Bhallala Deva also loves Devasena and sends marriage proposal, but she rejects it.

When Bhallala Deva complains to his mother, Rajmata Shivagami, that he had earlier snatched the kingdom and now Baahubali is snatching Deva Sena as well, she asks Baahubali to choose either Devasena or Mahishmati’s throne. Baahubali chooses Devasena, marries her and leaves the kingdom.

Once Baahubali leaves, Bhallala Deva becomes king and he starts treating people with contempt. Soon, brother of Kalakeya, Ninja, attacks Mahishmathi and kills half the force. After Sivagami seeks help, Baahubali returns to Mahishmati along with his pregnant wife and save the kingdom.

Bhallala Deva fears that if Baahubali wins the war, he will once again become king, so he orders Kattappa, who is loyal to the king, to kill Baahubali. Under the oath of obeying the king’s orders, Kattappa kills Baahubali, feeling guilty of letting Baahubali die, Sivagami saves his infant child and manages to hand him to tribal people by sacrificing her life. Deva Sena gets jailed in Mahishmathi. The flashback ends at this point.

Next, Sivudu, with the help of Kunthala force and Kattappa, kills Bhallala Deva and frees his mother, Devasena’.

As the film is already announced to have its worldwide release on April 28, 2017, still seven months to go, makers seem to have decided to give a special treat for fans by releasing the first teaser of the movie on the eve of film’s lead actor Prabhas’s upcoming birthday, on October 23. It is expected to be high on action and visuals. It may be noted that a special making video of the first part was also released on the eve of Prabhas’s birthday, two years ago.

The film’s shooting is almost complete, and the post-production work will soon commence. Film’s promotional activities will also begin with the release of this teaser.

The Telugu audio of ace cricketer MS Dhoni’s upcoming biopic ‘MS Dhoni; The Untold Story’ was launched the other night in Hyderabad.

Speaking at the event, Dhoni said that he first came to Hyderabad back in 2000 when he was still playing first-class cricket. ‘Biryani, bangles, and the baskets are the three things I love most about Hyderabad.
