The other day some women organizations in Vijayawada has been protesting in front of Arjun Reddy theatres demanding a ban on movies like Arjun Reddy. Sandeep who had enough with all these controversies seemed restless. Irked with their actions, Sandeep revealed his uneasiness.

In a recent interview, he has made it clear that if they continue troubling him like this, he will not make movies in Telugu. Instead, he will make movies in Hindi, Bhojpuri, Bengali, Tamil or Malayalam.

Appreciations are pouring in from across all languages for the latest release Arjun Reddy. And Shalini Pandey’s portrayal as Preethi Shetty, a medico, has won laurels, too. She said that the biggest appreciation was from her father.

“My dad did not approve my choice of being an actor. And I decided to file a police case against my father as he hasn’t agreed to act in the films. But, he watched Arjun Reddy and was all praise for my performance and the rawness it had. He liked the honesty in the film and didn’t find anything vulgar. Although he didn’t say these words to me directly, my sister conveyed the message. I was really thrilled to hear such sweet words from him.”

She further added, “I did my engineering and come from a theatre background. I come from a culturally rich family. My father works for the MP government and my mother is a homemaker. My father insisted me to complete engineering before I took up acting. Two months after I completed my studies, I was approached by director Sandeep Reddy with Arjun Reddy’s script, for Preethi Shetty’s role.”

The stupendous success of Arjun Reddy has increased the starlet’s confidence and she is looking forward to acting in quality films. Shalini admitted that Arjun Reddy has carried an effective message to the society.​

It all started when the senior politician VH tore a poster of this flick and asked the government to ban this flick. Later the hero Vijay gave him a sensational reply by asking him to Chill tathaya. This issue got doubled when RGV collide head on head with VH and exchanged words. Recently a YSRCP leader Gautam Reddy has complained to Vijayawada police against this movie such that this movie will spoil the youth with obscene scenes.

Last but not the least, a small film maker D Naga Raju who hail from Khammam is alleging that the director Sanjay Reddy and producer Pranay Reddy have stolen Arjun Reddy story from his flick. He is demanding Rs 2 crores from profits as they copied Nagaraju’s story.

Anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj was upset with the way the abusive words are used in the film Arjun Reddy. She is yet to watch the film but was upset with the way the whole thing was cooked up. She revealed her opinion on the same recently on twitter.

“Everything is fine! But since when abusing your mother became a go-go?? Sure. experiment. explore. but how can you take your bearing .for granted dude! Its a blessing to be celebrated, to be followed by thousands and lakhs of people but isn’t it a greater responsibility? I thought I won’t make an issue out of it. I tried to make them realize but I am not able to keep mum anymore it’s below par! Unacceptable! Abusing out of emotion is just ok to a certain extent but never comes a moment that you can Not control yourself! You lose control only when you take ‘it’ for granted, and that ‘it’ becomes someone’s mother, sister, wife?!! SHAME!!! LOSERS!!!! If you say you abuse when someone says/does something inappropriate to the women in your life then what are YOU doing dude?!! Abusing their women?!! Whats the big difference then?!! Grow-Up!!
