Akhil Akkineni’s debut flick ‘Akhil’ is all set to release on November 11, to cash in on the Diwali weekend. Trade is expecting Akhil to take a huge start at the domestic box office as the film is releasing on a public holiday.

Makers are confident that Akhil will get a flying start at the domestic box office but what about the overseas release? Releasing the film on Wednesday means the special premieres will be screened on Tuesday night itself. So, the movie should sustain for three days to reach the weekend to get the audiences in big numbers.

For that Akhil should get positive reviews, encouraging mouth talk and must beat piracy. Sustaining all these is difficult, so overseas buyers always pray for a Friday release.

For now, overseas buyers of Akhil could only hope for good reviews.

Akhil’s first movie directed by VV Vinayak and proudced by Nithin. Sayesha Saigal is the heroine in the movie.

‘Akhil,’ the debut film of Akkineni Akhil, after the postponement of Dasara festival, on 22nd October release, has now been confirmed to release on 11th November, on the eve of Diwali festival.

It is well known that Akhil will also release in a big way in Tamil. The big threat comes here as Akhil will have to lock horns with two superstars at Tamil box office.

Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thoongavanam’ is releasing on 12th and Ajith’s ‘Vedalam’ is releasing on 11th November. To make matters worse, Salman Khan’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is also releasing on 12th November.

Amidst the clash of these superstars, how far this debutant will succeed?

Akkineni fans are expecting a very much from Akhil’s debut movie “Akhil.” They made themselves clear that Akhil will be the next Superstar of Tollywood.

It was yesterday that producer Nithin has announced that “Akhil” release will be delayed due to some graphical delay of the movie.

Earlier it was announced that the film will release on 22nd of October, now with Nithin’s statement of postponement the new release date isn’t been announced yet.

Expecting a lot that “Akhil” will be releasing on 22nd of October, Akkineni fans were well prepared. With yesterday’s statement of Nithin’s, fans were left in disappointment and anger. Their anger resulted in protests against the producer Nithin and Director V.V.Vinyak for cheating them.

Nithin, who is already in the tension of the film’s release, is now more feared of Akkineni fans and their anger over him.

Super Star Rajinikanth has reportedly been approached to launch Akkineni Akhil’s debut film “Akhil” audio in Tamil.

Here in Telugu Akkineni Nagarjuna has invited Mahesh Babu as the guest for “Akhil” audio launch that was released on 20th of September. Inviting Mahesh Babu boosted Akhil’s confidence who thanked Mahesh for attending his debut film audio launch.

“Akhil” team has recently visited U.S and has released the Telugu audio in the states of high Telugu population. He will be traveling to Malaysia on October 10th and does some promotional activities there.

In the meanwhile, the Tamil version producers of “Akhil” are planning to release the audio by this weekend. In the process, they have reported of approaching Rajinikanth and invited him as the guest for the audio launch. Though the reply from Rajinikanth is not known, close sources say that he may attend the audio launch. C.Kalyan has acquired the Tamil rights of “Akhil.”

If Rajinikanth does attend “Akhil” audio launch, then the hype over the film in Tami version will increase.

Copying a scene from a film or fight can be accepted, because directors who copied such scenes have a good reason of supporting them.

Recently released Akhil Akkineni debut film poster has allegations of copy, paste work. Though the first look was received very well, attention was raised after few critics claimed that the poster was a mere copy a Hollywood action film “Dragon Ball Z”

The poster in which Akhil is seen holding a fire ball in his hand, has gained good response from Akkineni fans. The teaser which was launched on the eve of Nagarjuna’s birthday has over 60lakh views. The expectations too rose over the film, as the teaser contained good shots of action scenes.

In other news, Alia Bhatt has been reportedly approached to play the lead opposite in Akhil Akkineni debut movie.

A source close to the actor says,” Yes. Alia’s name is definitely being considered for the film. But it is too early to confirm anything. The film’s theme and the crew that will be working on it, hasn’t been finalised either.”

Meawhile, his father Akkineni Nagarjuna says, “Akhil is yet to prove himself. His acting talent and screen presence is what everyone should wait and watch. I’m touched by the compliments he is being showered with. Some are calling him as a competition ot Naga Chaitanya. However, he has a long way to go. If anything else, I’m his biggest competition.”

Nagarjuna also revealed that he’ll be the producer for Akhil’s debut film.

Akhil, on the other hand, is riding high on the praises showered on him by Super star Mahesh Babu. Well, frankly speaking, Akhil does have it in him to make it big in Tollywood!
