Young hero Karthikeya was shot to fame with his act in the film RX100. Released amidst zero expectations last year, the film went on to become a super hit at the box office and also brought fame to Karthikeya, heroine Payal Rajput and director Ajay Bhupati. After that Karthikeya, signed a couple of projects as the lead hero and acting in a negative shaded character in Nani’s Gang Leader.

Director Ajay Bhupathi is now prepping up to make a film called Maha Samudram with Naga Chaitanya as the lead. Apparently, Chaitanya will be seen as a cop in the movie, Touted to be an intense triangular love story, the film might feature Samantha as the female lead.

Ajay is considering to rope in Karthikeya for the other hero role in the movie. It seems that this role will also have a negative shade to it. The actor is yet to sign the dotted lines but we hear that he is very much interested to do it. An official announcement is expected to be made soon.

Ajay Bhupathi, the sensational director who made his debut with the film RX100 was supposed to work with Ram, Sharwanand, Dulquer Salmaan, and Bellamkonda Sreenivas. But, unfortunately, his projects with all these heroes did not take off. But, the director expressed confidence of coming up with a film and finally landed up in Akkineni compound.

Ajay Bhupathi was supposed to do a cop drama with Bellamkonda. As the hero quit the project, Ajay narrated the same to Naga Chaitanya who readily agreed to do the film. The makers confirmed ‘Maha Samudram’ as the title for the film and the movie is going to tell the story of a girl named Maha.

The pre-production work of the film is currently in progress. Samantha is said to be playing the leading lady in the movie. Annapurna Studios will bankroll the project.

Actor Bellamkonda Sreenivas is on a signing spree these days. The actor has been getting many offers, irrespective of the box office results of his previous films. From the last few days, it has been reported that he has signed a film with RX100 director Ajay Bhupathi.

It was also heard that the movie is going to be an intense love story which features two lead heroes. But according to the latest buzz, Sreenivas has taken back the decision to work with Ajay to his busy schedule. As Ajay is now left with no choice, he started hunting for new heroes.

Meanwhile, Bellamkonda is currently busy with the ongoing project Sita which is being directed by Teja. Kajal is playing the female lead in the film. Apart from this Bellamkonda has also signed the remake of Tamil film Ratsasan and another untitled film with director Vamshi Krishna of Dongata fame.

Samantha is one of the star heroines in the South film industry. The actress has surprised with her decision of romancing Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas in his debut film Alludu Srinu, directed by VV Vinayak. People were shocked to see a star heroine coming forward to act with a new hero.

After multiple years, now, Samantha might be reuniting with Bellamkonda again for an upcoming crazy project. Director Ajay Bhupathi who made his directorial debut with the film RX 100 is planning a movie with Sreenivas. Hence, he wanted to rope in Samantha as the heroine for his project.

The actress was approached with the script and she is yet to take a final call on the project.

On the other side, she is working with Nandini Reddy for the film O Baby Entha Sakkagunnave.
