The success drought of Bellamkonda Srinivas continues as his last film Sita remained as a disaster at the box office. He is now pinning all the hopes on his upcoming film Rakshasudu. Directed by Ramesh Varma Penmetsa, this film features Anupama Parameswaran as the female lead.
The censor formalities of the film have been done today and it has been awarded a U/A certificate by the board. Touted to a thriller, this film is now all set to hit the screens on August 2nd. Rakshasudu is an official remake of recent Tamil blockbuster Ratchasan starring Vishnu Vishal.
We hear that the makers have stayed faithful to the original and made the remake as it is. As thrillers are universal subjects and you never get a chance to tamper them, the story has been put just like the original. Let’s wait and see whether it will give that much-needed blockbuster for Bellamkonda or not.
