Jayam Ravi starrer Comali has fallen into a big controversy now. The film’s theatrical trailer received huge criticism from everyone. Since the trailer carried a scene mocking the political entry of Rajinikanth, the fans found it as a fault and the makers had to an apology.

In a press note that he sent, Jayam Ravi asked for an apology and assured that the scene would not make it to the final cut.

“I would like to make it clear that the element was included in a positive light. Being a hardcore Superstar Rajini sir fan, I have been as eager and anxious as any other follower to see him embark on his political journey. We all grew up watching his movies, his action and style had mandatorily become an inherent part of our nature and there is no way that we would show such disrespect to him in any way or his fans. What has made him more lovable than before is that he saw the trailer of Comali and appreciated our team for the creative appeal and con-gratulated us for coming up with an unique idea. However, to see that such an ideation without any deliberate intent has been receiving resentments and some negative feedbacks from a section of his fans, we have decided to delete the portion in the movie.” posted Jayam Ravi.”

Star heroine Kajal hasn’t been bagging many offers these days. Continous flops might be considered as the major reason for that. Her last film Sita is a disaster and she has now pinned all the hopes on her next film Ranarangam, which is slated for the release on the 15th of August.

Apart from that, Kajal is acting in Shankar-Kamal Haasan’s big-budget film Indian 2. We also heard that she is playing as a female lead in Manchu Vishnu’s English film. According to the latest buzz, Kajal has signed an experimental film with director Prasanth Varma of Awe fame.

The lyrical video also showcases some beautiful visuals from the film. Justifying the storyline, the visuals are also set with an 80s backdrop and both Sharwa and Kalyani Priyadarshan are looking so cute together. The lyrical video has been receiving a positive response from the audience. Music by Karthik Rodriguez is really beautiful and will also get the credit for his voice. Lyrics by Krishna Chaitanya are beautiful.

Sithara Entertainments banner is pooling resources for the film which has been carrying high expectations from the audience. The movie is going to get released on August 15th, 2019.

There is a talk in the film industry that the actors are emotional persons. They follow sentiments and gives much importance to their family. Most of them will approve this fact while Kajal Agarwal is the latest actress who revealed the emotional theory of her life. The actress says that money lost can be earned but a relation lost cannot be earned. She adds some philosophical touch to her theory and reveals her other side.

“I am a very emotional person and I know the value of relations. I do anything for my family and I am also ready to leave my career right away for them,” said Kajal Agarwal. She says that money is not always important and tells that human relations are important in life which makes better individuals.

The Madras high court has dismissed a suit filed by Kajal Agarwal, seeking Rs 2.5 crore as damages from V.V.D. & Sons P. Ltd for allegedly misusing her profile for promoting its products including coconut oil.

Holding that the conduct of VVD & Sons has not transgressed her right and her profile had not been affected, Justice T. Ravindran dismissed the suit filed by Kajal. According to Kajal, through an advertisement agency, she entered into an agreement with VVD for an ad-film for promoting VVD’s products. As per the agreement, the ad-film should be used only for one year i.e. from 2008 to 2009.

However, violating the agreement VVD has been using the ad-film, using her profile for promoting its product. Denying the same, VVD submitted that it holds the copyright over the ad film. Kajal has no manner of right over the same since she has been paid the sum of Rs 3 lakh demanded by her for acting in the said ad-film, VVD added.

After analyzing all the materials and citing certain provisions of the Copyright Act, the judge said once the copyright had been vested with the VVD, the same would operate as per law with all the statutory rights conferred under the Act, the judge added.

The judge held that the VVD was the owner of the copyright of the commercial cinematography film. The term of the copyright in the commercial cinematography film was 60 years as stipulated in the Act. The VVD has not exploited the commitment and violated the conditions in advertising their products with the appearance of Kajal’s profile, so as to cause prejudice to her. Therefore, she was not entitled to damages for the so-called misuse and violation of the contract by the VVD, the judge added.

To pair opposite Vijay, Kajal Agarwal is demanding record price of Rs. 2 crores. Kajal has topped the list of highly paid actresses by beating Goa beauty Ileana, who was the latest highly paid actress with 1.5 crores for Nanban [Snehithudu in Telugu].

It is heard that the makers have agreed to pay the huge sum of Rs 2 Crores to Kajal Agarwal, excluding traveling and team charges. A source close to unit said that the makers of Maari decided to rope in the same actors in the first part and hence approached Kajal.

She then demanded a whopping amount Rs 2 Crores to star in Maari 2. With no other option, the makers have reportedly given nod to Kajal’s demand.
