Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman will be reuniting with star hero Kamal Haasan after a long gap of 19 years. Rahman will be composing music for Kamal’s upcoming political thriller, Thalaivan Irukindraan. The last Kamal’s film to which Rahman composed the music was Thenali.

Rahman himself announced the news but he didn’t reveal the movie’s name. He tweeted, “Happy and excited to collaborate with the one and only @ikamalhaasan himself on a magnum opus… Watch this space for more @RKFI @lycaproductions #RKFI #lycaproductions.”

Kamal ended up the suspense by revealing the movie name as well. He tweeted back to Rahman saying, “Thanks ARR for strengthening the team with your participation. Very few projects feel good & right even as we develop it. Thalaivan Irukkindraan is one such. Your level of excitement for the project is very contagious. Let me pass it on to the rest of our crew @RKFI @LycaProductions”

Popular production house Lyca Productions will be bankrolling this movie. Rest of the details regarding the director and the lead cast will be announced soon. The regular shoot may commence from October.

Thalapathy Vijay is undoubtedly the most followed actor of Tamil film industry in recent times. Now, Vijay is coming up with a sports-based action drama, Bigil.

The first freedom fighter from Rayalaseema area Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’s biopic is now made as a flick under the director Surender Reddy. Chiranjeevi will be donning the character of this freedom fighter. As the team has decided to release this flick in Hindi, the name might not get popular for Hindi viewers. So they are thinking about the name Mahavir which rhymes with the magnum opus Baahubali which can grab the attention of Hindi audience. An official confirmation from this movie’s team is awaited.

This movie is bankrolled by mega power star Ram Charan. Music will be scored by A R Rahman. The movie gets launched on 15th of August.

Seems like Deepika Padukone took a dig at her Ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor. In a recently posted video on Facebook by Deepika, she tests how good is her “Tamasha” co-star Ranbir Kapoor’s knowledge on social networking sites.
