Currently, Daggubati Rana is acting in a film called Virata Parvam 1992. It is being directed by Venu Udugula, who earlier made Needi Nadi Oke Katha. Sai Pallavi is playing the female lead role in it. Senior actress Tabu and another well-known heroine Priyamani are essaying key roles in it.
If the latest buzz is anything to go by, the film will feature veteran Bollywood actress Zarina Wahab will also join this film. Originally hailed from Vizag, Zarina was seen in Telugu films like Amara Prema, Hema Hemilu and Gajula Kishtayya. Her last appearance in Telugu cinema was in Ram Gopal Varma’s Rakhta Charitra.
So, this will be a comeback for her in Tollywood after almost a decade. Apparently, the role she has been assigned is a crucial one in the movie. The shoot for the film will begin in the month of June. Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri will jointly produce this project.
