Yami Gautam is a popular person in the film industry. Though she acted in a couple of films in Telugu, she is most popular for Fair and Lovely advertisements. The actress recently revealed a stunning thing about her college days.

Yami revealed that she slapped a person while studying in Chandigarh when the person tried to molest her inappropriately. “The other person is coming on the bike and commented me. He even tried to catch my hand. I slapped him instantly which resulted him in escaping from the place”, said Yami by recollecting the incident that took place years ago.

Yami Gautham is an actor in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Punjabi languages. She made her debut in Telugu with the film Nuvvila.

As the biopic season is trending virally in the film industry, we have come to know that Bollywood beauty Yami Gautam is also planning to be featured on one. The latest information from the filmnagar is that she is expected to be featured on a biopic based on the life of Kalpana Chawla, the popular Astronaut.

The actress who made her debut with the film Nuvvila later acted in Gouravan in Telugu. “I wanted to act in the biopic based on the life of Kalpana Chawla. It is my dream. I also wanted to act in the biopic of heroine Madhu Bala. I selected these two people because of the impact they showed in their fields.” replied Yami Gautham.

Let us wait and see if her wish is going to come true.

Hrithik and Yami Gautam starter Kaabil was released in the last year and fetched huge critical acclaim along with collections. Such a flick is now going to Hollywood.

Generally, Hollywood flicks and themes will be made in Bollywood but for the first time, it is happening vice versa. A popular International production house is eyeing to remake this flick in Hollywood. This news is confirmed by none other than Kaabil’s director Sanjay Gupta. He states that the CEO of Fox International Productions, Thomas was impressed with Kaabil’s script and he is fond of remaking this flick in English starring Hrithik as a hero. It is now in the hands of Hrithik Roshan and his father Rakesh Roshan to take a decision on this offer.

Currently, Hrithik is enjoying in his personal family tour in Europe. He will return in the next month to give his final nod.

After a year of mud-slinging, Pulkit’s wife, Shweta Rohira filed for divorce yesterday. The duo were present yesterday at Bandra court for the same when Pulkit lashed out at a photographer who was clicking their pictures.

Both Hrithik and film’s leading lady Yami Gautham are playing visually challenged people in Kaabil. In the promos, Hrithik was seen wearing a watch to his hand. Some film fanatics had started questioning on social media why Hrithik needed a watch when he was blind in the movie.

Film’s director Sanjay Gupta has responded to these negative comments and said that some people need to improve their common sense and general knowledge. ‘Braille watches have been in use for a long time to help blind people. Hrithik uses the similar watch in the film. I can’t reveal much about the watch as it plays a crucial role in the film. I think some people are determined to criticize despite how hard filmmakers work,’ he added.

Ram Gopal Varma, who claims to be a woman-lover, leaves no stone unturned to praise the women that he finds beautiful and hot.

The latest lucky actress to get free publicity via Varma’s arrow like tweets is the beautiful Yami Gautam. Varma said that Fair and Lovely is conning people by casting already beautiful Yami in their advertisement and taking credit for making her look fair.

‘Scam of advertising is Yami Gautam makes Fair and Lovely beautiful nd makers con the consumer to think Fair and Lovely made Yami beautiful. With or without Fair and Lovely, Yami Gautam will be as beautiful nd non beautiful will remain non beautiful even if she uses Fair and Lovely. The manufacturers applied the beautiful Yami gautam on the non beautiful Fair and Lovely to make it look seemingly beautiful,’ said RGV in his impeccable style.

He also dared Yami to state that she was not beautiful before using Fair and Lovely. ‘I dare @yamigautam to state on Twitter that she was not beautiful before and it’s fair and lovely which made her beautiful,’ added Varma.

Yami hasn’t yet responded to RGV’s comments as everyone knows well that no one can win a twitter battle with him.

It is known that Pulkit Samrat and Shweta have called off their marriage a few months back.

There have been stories that Pulkit’s closeness to actress Yami Gautam was the reason behind his split with his wife, but Pulkit has always maintained a stoic silence on this issue despite these speculations. However, after recently reading an article stating that Pulkit grew close to Yami at a time when Shweta suffered a miscarriage, Pulkit decided to break silence on the issue.

I didn’t think she would go to the extent of falsifying facts and bring it out in the public to gain sympathy and malign my image. The miscarriage was tragic for both of us. Sriram Raghavan who is usually known to make thrillers such as – ‘Johnny Gaddaar’, ‘Agent Vinod’ will be directing this flick. This film is going to be a thriller as well.

The film also stars the method actors Huma Qureshi and Nawazuddin Siddique in pivotal roles.

Coming to her stint in south, After acting in ‘Nuvvila’, Yami Gautam went on to pair up with Allu Sirish in ‘Gauravam’. Her next Telugu film, ‘Courier Boy Kalyan’ has been delayed already by several months. If all goes well, the film might hit the screens later this year. Nithin has played the lead role in this film.

Yami Gautam’s next Box-Office outing will be ‘Action Jackson’ opposite Ajay Devgan. Ace Director-Choreographer Prabhu Dheva is directing the film.

Are we dreaming or is this for real? We are aware of the constant fashion disasters that happen in Bollywood but this one surely takes the cake. Alia Bhatt wore an adorable top with a heart shape on it just a few days ago for the screening of her film 2 States. The same top was seen worn by none other than actress YamiGautam at the airport on her way to Tampa Bay for IIFA 2014. While this may or may not be a sheer coincidence, the designers of these pretty actresses sure need to exchange noted while it comes to the wardrobe malfunction issues with the ladies.
Thankfully, the ladies did not end up wearing the same coloured bottoms to make things worse. Alia wore a smart pair of deep blue skinny jeans while Yami called it on with ash grey pair of jeggings. Also, Alia is frequently seen wearing the same pair of golden sandals everywhere lately. She has to understand that we are watching the debacle on an ongoing basis.

Alia Bhatt is on a new high, especially after a stellar performance in 2 States. The young actress has been giving some mindblowing performances back to back right from the first film.
Yami, on the other hand, is still struggling to strike gold after Vicky Donor with AyushmannKhurana. The pretty actress who also tried a stint at Tollywood by starring opposite AlluSireesh in Gauravam could not quite make an impact down South.

It’s laudable when someone tries to make a light-hearted entertainer basing on the animosity that Hindustan and Pakistan have towards each other. Last year, we had had this cross-border comedy War Yaar Chodd Na yaar which explores the lighter side of the hatred. Total Siyapaa also attempts a comedy basing on the popular friction between the nations, showing that at the end of the day we are descendants of apes and humor has no border.

Set in London, this is the story of the chaos that happens in a span of one day. Aman (Ali Zafar) is a Pakistani and a musician in London. His love, Asha (Yami Gautam) insists him to come home and meet her family. Asha belongs to a loud Punjabi family, who are a bunch of cartoons.  Asha’s mother (Kirron Kher) knows that he is a Muslim, bit doesn’t mind. However, when she learns that he is a Pakistani, she gets furious.  Asha’s brother Manav is a born Pakistani hater, who never stops picking up fights with the Pakistani neighbors in the apartment.  Similarly, other family members are also eccentric in their own ways.  Amidst all the mess and antipathy,  Aman drops a can a frozen soup on a stranger’s head on the road. The siyappas then get stacked one upon the other creating crazy situations in the rest of the movie.

The movie is more of a sitcom filled with comedy of errors. However, if it is not extra-ordinary you cannot stand a sitcom after half-an-hour.  The film begins well with good humor and then slightly becomes a passable humor and transforms into a mediocre humor later.  The best part, however is the movie wraps up in 90 minutes.

Kirron Kher has a terrific screen presence and comic timing that gives the life to the movie in the first half. Ali Zafar offers nothing new. He has stereotyped himself by doing very similar roles in all his films. Also, he confines all his expressions to the up-and-down movements of his eye-brows. The music he composed in fact contributed more to the movie than his monotonous performance. Yami was decent and made a great pair with the handsome Zafar. The ensemble cast was excellent though with super comic timing.

The major drawback is the writing by Neeraj Pandey which fails to sustain the interest after the initial promising 30 minutes.

In short, an opportunity wasted. However, you can give it a try when it premieres on TV.
