Vishal is the star hero of Kollywood film industry who is currently busy working on his upcoming film’s shoot. The actor is participating in a key schedule of the movie where the director planned to shoot the action sequences. While performing a stunt, Vishal got injured severely and he got his left leg and hand fractured. The film’s shoot is happening in Turkey and the makers immediately rushed the actor to the hospital.

The film unit revealed that Vishal attempted the stunt without the help of body-double and hence the incident took place. The actor was given treatment on time and he is currently advised rest completely. Vishal might soon flew down to Chennai and the shoot might begin once Vishal is back to normal.

Tamil star hero Vishal is currently busy working on his next film in Tamil. The actor is looking forward to the film Ayogya which is the official remake of the film Temper. Venkat Mohan is the director of the film and Raashi Khanna is the heroine. The makers decided to remix Blockbuster song for the film and the film unit started shooting for the song.

The reports from the film unit reveal that Vishal was injured on the film’s sets while filming the song. Vishal himself has confirmed the same to a leading news daily in English. Vishal said, “It was an unexpected accident. While shooting for the song, I slipped and fell on the floor.” said Vishal.

The film’s teaser that was out sometime back raised a positive buzz in the industry. More details about the film’s release will be out soon.

Actor Vishal is known for his signature action style and impressive physical stunts – a fact greatly appreciated because the young star rarely uses stunt doubles or ‘dupes’. However, this no ounches pulled, ‘what you see is what you get’ attitude has landed him in trouble as he was seriously injured performing a stunt during the shooting of his new movie Poojai, directed by Hari.

Vishal, it seems, was following the directions of stunt coordinator Kanal Kannan when he cut his hand in massive way requiring no less than 22 stitches. But this is not what’s shocking – what’s shocking is the fact that the tough guy that he is, he returned to the set without much delay to continue shooting.

Well, kudos to Vishal for being a thorough professional when, in an industry that caters to every need of a leading man, he could just as easily have blown the whole thing out of proportion and quite justifiably played the ‘diva’ card.

He is coming of the success and general warm reception to his latest flick Naan Sigappu Manithan which had the unique premise of an action/revenge movie set against the backdrop of a sleep disorder (narcolepsy) – something that had previously never before been spoken about in Kollywood.

Poojai stars Shruthi Hassan in the lead female role and also has veteran actor Sathyaraj playing a pivotal character.
