‘Gang Leader’ is an upcoming Tollywood film starring Natural Star Nani and Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead roles. Vikram K Kumar of ‘Manam’ fame is directing the film.

Lakshmi and Sharanya Ponvannan are playing vital roles in this movie. Touted to be a full-length comedy entertainer, Nani is seen in the role of Pencil Parthasarathy, a writer. The teaser of the movie hinted that the movie is definitely going to impress the audience and will become another superhit in Nani’s career. The makers have postponed the release from August 30th giving Prabhas’ ‘Saaho’ solo release.

Now, they have announced that ‘Gang Leader’ is gearing up for a grand release on September 13th. The makers are going to kick start the promotions in a couple of weeks.

Mythri Movie Makers is pooling resources for this film. Anirudh Ravichander of ‘Jersey’ fame is scoring music for this movie as well.

Actor Nani is currently busy in wrapping up the shoot of his upcoming sports drama, Jersey. The film is slated to release on April 19. Meanwhile, he also launched his next film which is going to be directed by Vikram K Kumar. Touted to be a unique love story, this film is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.

Apparently, the makers have approached actress Rakul Preet to appear in a special song in the film. Currently, the talks are going on and it is still unknown whether the actress has agreed to do it or not. The actress has never appeared in any special song before, in her career.

Rakul also hasn’t acted with Nani till now. If she signs to do the film, this would be their first collaboration. The film would also feature three female leads who are yet to be finalized. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music for this film.

Natural Star Nani is currently busy with the shooting of the movie Jersey, directed by Gautham Tinnanuri. The actor will next be seen in the direction of Vikram K Kumar. The movie was officially launched today morning in Hyderabad.

The much anticipated Tamil film Varmaa has landed in trouble a couple of days back when the producers announced that they are unhappy with the first cut and thus, they will re-shoot the entire film. The film, which is the official remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy, also marks the debut of actor Vikram’s son, Dhruv Vikram.
