Akshara Haasan, the younger daughter of Kamal Haasan and younger sibling of Shruti Haasan, first tried her luck as a heroine with the film Shamitabh. Neither the film nor Akhsara got any good reviews from the critics and audiences. Many people thought that Akshara is too tomboyish and won’t be suitable for glamorous roles like her sister Shruti.
Later, she acted in a couple of Tamil and Hindi films and all of them were disasters at the box office. People almost forgot her as a heroine also. But she took this downfall as a challenge and is trying to make a striking comeback. In the process, she has undergone a stunning makeover.
