The shooting of NTR biopic is going on with a brisk pace. Balakrishna is portraying the role of his legendary father NTR in the movie. Directed by Krish, the movie unit has been unveiling the first look posters of each and every character from the movie.

We can say that every poster increased the expectations on the film. Recently, Vidya Balan who is playing the role of NTR’s wife Basavatarakam in the movie posted a picture of her on her Instagram. In the picture, she is dressed up like Basavatarakam and is looking into the mirror. ‘What do I see’ captioned Vidya Balan and the picture is now going viral on the internet. On the other hand Kalyan Ram is playing the role of his father Harikrishna in the movie. The first looks of Rana as Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Sumanth as Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Rakul Preet Singh as Sridevi are already trending on the internet.

The first part of the biopic ‘Kathanayakudu’ is slated to hit the screens on January 9th whereas the second part ‘Mahanayakudu’ is scheduled for a grand release on January 24th. Needless to say, the expectations on this film are sky-high.

Putting an end to all the speculations, actress Vidya Balan finally joined the sets of NTR – a biopic based on the life of Sr NTR. Vidya Balan will be seen in the role of Basavatarakam, Sr NTR’s first wife. Balakrishna will play the titular role in the movie. The regular shoot of the film already started sometime back in Hyderabad and Vidya will take part in the shoot from today.

Vidya Balan got a warm welcome from NTR’s family. On this occasion, She was gifted a saree by Nandamuri Lokeswari, the daughter of Sr NTR. During the saree presentation, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Vasundhara Devi, Tejaswini, Sri Bharat were also present.

Directed by Krish, NTR is produced by Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati, and Vishnu Induri. MM Keeravani is the music director of the movie. The film also stars Sr Naresh, Prakash Raj, Murli Sharma and others in the key roles.
