Pawan Kalyan is busy shooting for his next film Agnathavasi in the direction of Trivikram Srinivas which is due for release on January 10. There are speculations about his next film after Agnathavasi.

Well, now it is heard that AM Ratnam son AM Jyothikrishna prepared script for Pawan Kalyan starrer movie that will go to sets after Agnathavasi. This movie is touted to be the remake of Ajith starrer Vedalam. The movie is going to be produced by AM Ratnam and directed by Neison.

Jyothikrishna has confirmed this news during the promotions of his latest directorial venture Oxygen that is hitting the screens tomorrow.

This remake of Vedalam was announced when Pawan Kalyan was working for Katamarayudu. However, after Katamarayudu, Agnathavasi went to sets first and is almost nearing completion.

The director has been signed by producer AM Ratnam to remake Thala Ajith’s blockbuster Vedhalam in Telugu. There have been several rumours regarding the same but finally it is now confirmed that Pawan Kalyan is going to remake the film. ‘Powerstar’ Pawan Kalyan will be seen reprising Thala Ajith’s role in the film and the complete details about the cast and crew were yet to be revealed. The film’s official launch and puja ceremony was held yesterday.

Pawan Kalyan has reportedly told both AM Ratnam and Nesan to make necessary changes for the original Vedalam script so that it suits Pawan Kalyan very well. With this, there is now confusion regarding the upcoming film of Pawan Kalyan. More details about the project are expected to be out soon.

As per latest reports, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan will act in the Telugu remake of Ajith’s blockbuster ‘Vedhalam’.

Pawan is currently busy with the shoot of Sardaar Gabbar Singh apart from his political stint. When megastar Chiranjeevi recently visited Pawan Kalyan on the sets of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, director SJ Surya and senior producer AM Ratnam were spotted on the sets. Pawan is in discussions with SJ Surya for a possible film, so he was on the sets.

But, what was AM Ratnam doing on the sets? It is now revealed that AM Ratnam convinced Pawan to act in the Telugu remake of his production venture ‘Vedalam’ starring Ajith. SJ Surya might direct this remake or he could make a different film. It may be noted that AM RatnamPawan and SJ Surya were the makers of blockbuster ‘Khushi’.

NTR and Balakrishna’s names were heard for the remake of Vedalam but Pawan stepped in.

Reliable sources revealed that NTR Jr has rejected to play the lead role in the remake of super hit Tamil film ‘Vedalam’ starring Ajith Kumar, despite the makers offered him a whopping Rs 20 Crore remuneration.

‘Vedalam’ starring Ajith has become a blockbuster in Tamil. The sister sentiment based drama has Shruti Haasan as the female lead and Lakshmi Menon as the sister of Ajith. After watching the film, NTR was much impressed but he was equally concerned about the dominance of sister character over the hero. Hence, he rejected the remake despite heavy remuneration was offered.

Meanwhile, NTR is busy completing the shooting of his upcoming ‘Nannaku Prematho’ to release it for Sankranthi 2016. He next has Koratala Siva’s film lined up.

Nannaku Prematho movie audio will be released by the end of this month and movie will hit the theatres for Sankranthi.

We had already reported that Tamil star hero Thala Ajith was injured during the shooting of his latest blockbuster ‘Vedalam’ and he has been walking with the help of a walking stick.

The other day, surgery was performed on his right knee by specialist doctors at a private hospital in Chennai. After six hours of surgery, doctors assured that Ajith is well, and he will be discharged soon.

However, doctors advised Ajith to take rest for at least six months. Hence, Ajith will soon leave to the USA to rest and undergo physiotherapy. The actor will start his next film in the second half of 2016.

Meanwhile, Vedalam is storming Kollywood box office. Lakshmi Menon and Shruti Hassan played the female lead roles in the movie. Lakshmi Menon plays the sister role to Ajith.

Impressed by their approach and responsibility, Shruti Hassan agreed to do and completed the filming. The department officials are planning to telecast this film in theaters, T.V and important junctions of Chennai and Tamil Nadu.

The Fire Department after the filming thanked Shruti Hassan for adjusting some time out of her busy schedule and advertising for this social awareness program.

Tamil Super Star “Thala” Ajith will undergo a leg surgery under the supervision of experienced doctors in Chennai next week.

Ajith Kumar met with an injury to his right leg in the shooting of his previous film “Aarambham” that got released in 2013. Later on, he was suggested by using a hand stick so that pressure cannot fall on his leg. As suggested, Ajith started using the hand stick.

In the recent time too his right leg once again got injured in the shooting of “Vedalam.” This time, the pain for Ajith got more severe and was rushed to the hospital.

As the injury got more worsened this time, doctors suggested Ajith to undergo an operation. Though, Ajith didn’t agree at that time because of Vedalam coming to its final stage of shooting.

With Vedalam filming finished and completing its censor formalities, Ajith has now agreed to under the surgery that the doctors suggested to him. As per the Kollywood reports, Thala Ajith will under his right leg surgery next week in a private in Chennai.

Vedalm that completed its censor formality gained a clean U certificate and will be releasing on 5th of November.
