Universal Star Kamal Hassan took a dig over censor board’s restricting romance. Kamal earned name and fame not only for his versatile acting but also for romancing heroines on screen. As a part of this onscreen romance, he got involved in many erotic scenes especially lip-lock scenes.

While lip lock’s gained popularity from past few years, Kamal did those in many of his films that release in 90’s. By doing so, his films faced many censor cuts and got released.

Kamal, who is waiting for his upcoming film Cheekati Rajyam in Telugu, made a satirical statement on the censor board that has been permitting his lip lock scenes over the years.

Kamal’s Cheekati Rajyam has Trisha as the heroine. In a poster that was released some time ago, Kamal is seen locking his lips with Trisha. When asked about that particular scene, Kamal replied saying at present that lip lock scene is there in the film, can’t say whether it stays the same after the censoring process.

Directed by Sundar, this is a sequel for Aranmanai that was released in 2014. This film was received well for its balanced making with horror and comedy.

The statue that was built for this movie is termed as Asia’s largest statue of goddess Amman with over 100 feet tall. The director speaking to the media said that “We are planning to involve the statue with visual effects, but wasn’t sure whether it looked like a real one. Hence, we decided to make the statue with plaster of Paris and other materials.

The scenes were the statute will be seen gives goose bumps to the audience. Workers built the statute in 40 days with dedication and sincerity. Few even fasted during the construction.”

Siddharth, Trisha Krishnan, Hansika Motwani, Soori and Poonam Bajwa are playing major roles and is produced by Khushbu. The film is known to be releasing in late 2015.
