After Vedhalam, Thala Ajith will act in historical movie directed by Vishnuvardhan.

Kollywood star hero Ajith Kumar is getting ready to fire some crackers at the box-office this Diwali. His latest flick Vedalam has completed its censor work and got a clean U certificate. This will be releasing on the 10th of November on the eve of Diwali.

Now, apart from “Vedalam,” Ajith has started preparing the ground work his future film. Ajith recently called up Tamil director Vishnu Vardhan and suggested him to prepare a historically based story that suits him. With Ajith himself calling and asking for a story, Vishnu began the script work immediately.

Ajith and Vishnu are a super hit combination together. In the past, Vishnu directed Ajith for “Billa 2” and “Arrambam” which turned out to become a massive hit in Tamil Nadu.

Director Vishnuvardhan is interested in making a movie based on the life and times of Tamil King Raja Raja Cholan. He is doing a lot of research on this subject and visiting many temples that were under the rule of one of the biggest emperors of South India. The construction of the famous Thanjavur temple will be the main plot in this flick.

In the past, legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan stepped into the boots of Rajaraja Cholan. This film was titled as Rajaraja Cholan itself and was released in 1973.

If everything goes fine, Ajith fans might get to see him in the avatar of a king!

Thala Ajith’s 56th film “Vedalam” is gaining a huge hype in Tamil Nadu currently. Fans have decided themselves that if this film turns out to become a blockbuster Ajith will become the Super Star of Kollywood.

The audio that got released recently has become a huge and has been trending all over the YouTube and social networking sites. Anirudh Ravichandran has composed the music for this action thriller.

Now, news across Kollywood has been stating that this film’s story got leaked and were pulsing all over the internet.

In the film, Ajith(Ganesh) plays the role of a taxi-driver. Lakshmi Menon plays the role of Ajith’s sister. Then comes the twist when Ganesh reveals the reason behind him of becoming an underworld don. He then finally takes revenge on his enemies.

This film also stars Shruti Hassan as the lead heroine. Directed by Shiva, “Vedalam” will release on Diwali.

‘Thala’ Ajith is top hero in Kollywood. His style and mannerism are unique. The mass following this class hero has in Tamil Nadu in utter huge. His new film “Vedalam,” is cracking into theatres on the eve of Diwali. The audio composed by Anirudh Ravichandran is gaining a good response from all over, especially “Aaluma Doluma” and “Theri” are trending songs right now in the state.

On the last day of the film shooting, Ajith has done something that moved the whole unit of “Vedalam.” While shooting a scene on the last of the shooting, Ajith met with an injury to the knee. It was so severe that the unit though the shooting might not progress and has to postpone it to another day.

With already being declared to release for Diwali, and now Ajith getting injured, producers were in a tense situation of the films progress. But, Thala didn’t make that happen. He was back into shooting the very same day without even caring his knee injury. Even though he was suffering the injury, he completed the shooting part and also completed the dubbing part. Seeing his dedication levels the whole team along with director Shiva were moved.

Thala fans were left in proud after knowing about this. Ajith is a hero who is passionate about cinema, that is the reason he is at this position, say fans.

Glad tidings are here for Thala Ajith fans, once again! The star and his wife Shalini, are expecting their second child soon!

The couple were married in 2000, and it was only 8 years later that they were blessed with their first child, in 2008. The baby girl Anoushka is now six years old and Shalini, pregnant once again. Both the dashing superstar and his beautiful wife are thrilled with this development in their personal lives.

An addition to the Thala family will of course be a matter of great celebration in the enormous fan community of the actor. Ajith, meanwhile, is making sure that his wife is well taken care of in this time of joy and is taking every precaution needed to make sure she remains healthy and happy.

It remains to be seen how exactly the fans will celebrate this affair in the days to come and on the fateful day of the arrival of the new addition to the family.

Meanwhile, Ajith is also busy with the production work of the Gautham Menon project, which is still going on. The shooting right now is progressing efficiently in and around Chennai.

The cast of the movie comprises of Ajith in the lead dual roles, Anushka and Trisha in the female leads along with Thalaivasal Vijay, Devi Ajith, Baby Anikha Surendran and Arun Vijay forming the supporting cast.

Harris Jayaraj is composing the tunes for this flick and Dan Macarthur is handling the cinematography.
