We are already aware that senior actress Tabu is playing a key role in the upcoming film of Allu Arjun which is being directed by Trivikram (tentatively called as AA19). After a couple of months of the shoot, Tabu has finally joined the film’s sets today and the whole team was elated by her presence.

It is being rumored that Tabu is playing the role of Bunny’s mother in the movie but we don’t have any official info about it. But the look of Tabu from the sets resembles the look of Nadhiya from Atharintiki Daredi. Trivikram generally gives roles with a lot of caliber to the senior actresses.

It is being expected that even Tabu has got such a role in this movie. Pooja Hegde is the female lead of this movie while Sushanth, Navdeep and Nivetha Pethuraj will be seen in the other pivotal roles. AA19 is being produced jointly by Allu Aravind and S. Radhakrishna. It is slated for a release during Sankranthi season next year.

Senior actress Tabu has been in the news for her recent successful ventures like Andhadhun and De De Pyaar De. She is also making her comeback into Telugu cinema after a long gap, with the upcoming Allu Arjun-Trivikram’s film. She will be seen as Bunny’s mother in the movie.

Meanwhile, Tabu has also been approached to play a key role in Rana Daggubati’s upcoming film, Virata Parvam. But apparently, she charged Rs. 60 lakhs as remuneration. Many heroines in Telugu film industry don’t get such remuneration and Tabu just shocked the makers with such a high quote. 

The talks are still going on and the makers are yet to take a call. Virata Parvam is a Naxalism based film which is set in the year 1992. It is being directed by Venu Udugula of Needi Naadi Oke Katha fame. Sai Pallavi is the leading lady of this movie.

We are already aware that recent Bollywood hit, De De Pyaar De is being remade in Telugu by Suresh Productions. Producer Suresh Babu himself revealed the news and said that Venkatesh will be playing the lead role. He also said that the director of the film will be finalized soon.

Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu are the heroines of the original. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, they will be retained for this remake as well. It seems that Tabu is already in talks with the makers and she might sign the project for sure. If she does that, she will be reuniting with Venkatesh after 28 years.

She acted alongside Venky, in her first Telugu film Coolie No: 1. Since, then, they didn’t get a chance to work together again. We might witness this pair after a long time, now with this movie. Even Rakul Preet will most likely sign this project. If everything falls in place, the film will go on floors by the end of this year.

It is being bankrolled jointly by Radha Krishna and Allu Aravind.

Tabu is a popular heroine in both Tollywood as well as Bollywood film industries. She is still doing movies and is grabbing some interesting roles. She recently attended Jagran Film Festival that took place in Mumbai. The festival director Mayank Shekhar interviewed the heroine where she revealed some exciting aspects of her personal life. She opened up about being single.

“I am still single in my life. I am enjoying the loneliness every single minute. I am not sure about the happiness in single life and a married life. I would have got an answer if I was married. I am never unhappy that I am unmarried. I am happy with my life.” said Tabu.

Tabu was last seen in Telugu film Pandurangadu starring Balakrishna.

It is a known thing that the beautiful actresses, Priyanka Chopra and Disha Patani are to share the screen with Salman Khan. Now, veteran actress Tabu is all set to team up with the macho man Salman Khan in his upcoming movie titled Bharat.

Bharat is touted to be a periodic drama which is to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Bharat is an official remake of South Korean drama Ode to My Father. Tabu, who was seen sharing the screen with Salman Khan in the movies Jeet, Biwi No.1, Hum Saath Saath Hain, and Jai Ho is to team up with him for the fifth time.

Bharat will get on the floors soon. More details are to be out soon. Salman, on the other hand, has wrapped up the shooting of Race-3.

Tabu, who has flown to Jodhpur on Wednesday morning for the 19-year-old case linked with the poaching of two blackbucks, reportedly faced eve-teasing while exiting the airport. According to reports, a fan forcibly made his way into the security guards’ circle and misbehaved with Tabu. The bouncers immediately pushed him back, steering him clear off Tabu’s way.

While no official complaint has been filed yet, Tabu seemed in a state of shock after the incident. Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam were accused of poaching blackbucks on the midnight of October 1-2, 1998 during the filming of the popular Hindi film Hum Saath Saath Hain.

All actors, including Salman, Saif, Tabu, Sonali and Neelam, will be present in the court for the pronouncement of the verdict. While Salman is facing charges under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, other actors have been charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act read with Section 149 (unlawful assembly) of the Indian Penal Code.

Ram Gopal Varma has clarified that Tabu is not acting in his movie. Speculations were rife that she was roped in as Nagarjuna’s wife in RGV’s movie. However, RGV says Tabu will not be in his movie. He also admitted that Big B is also not acting in the film.

He said that a younger heroine would act with Nagarjuna in his action drama. Nag will appear as a cop. The film will go to the sets on 20th November, and it is going to be a unique action drama.

It is heard that Nagarjuna doesn’t want to pair up with Tabu again even though their relationship and close friendship is known to all. RGV is now scouting for a young heroine for Nag.

Actress Tabu, who was rumored to have had a passionate relationship with married Nagarjuna Akkineni until a few years ago, has reportedly been specially called up for a special role in Akhil’s second film.

Reportedly, Nag has personally called so Tabu couldn’t say no. This project will be the second film co-starring Akhil and Tabu. Earlier, the duo was seen in ‘Sisindri’.

After the disastrous result of his highly anticipated debut film ‘Akhil’, the young Akkineni scion took a long gap to finalize his second project. Acclaimed filmmaker Vikram Kumar, who has earlier directed classic Akkineni family drama ‘Manam’, has been signed by Nag to provide a break for his son. The script work is finished and the pre-production is under progress.

This untitled project will be launched in January 2017. Newcomer Megha Akash is the frontrunner to play the female lead in this romantic entertainer.

It is common knowledge that bubbly actress Anushka Shetty will be seen in Bhagmati. The film will be directed by Ashok of Pilla Zamindar fame. As per the latest reports, the makers have zeroed down tall and stunning beauty Tabu for a key role.

It is learnt that Anushka will be seen in a super tough character in the movie. Bhagmati, which is influenced by historical events, will be launched soon. A source close to the unit said that Tabu would be seen as Anushka’s mother in the film.

However, an official confirmation about the same is yet to be received from the makers. The makers have yet to finalize the other cast and crew of the film. The pre-production works are going on in a full swing.

Veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor, who is gearing up to return to the small screen with the second season of 24, has denied the rumors of actress Tabu not doing the TV series due to less remuneration.

Anil Kapoor cleared that there was no monetary issue, but the unit was unable to crack the deal with Tabu due to date issue. He added that there was the unavailability of dates at Tabu as she was already busy with other commitments. However, Anil said that Tabu promised him to act definitely in the next season of the series.

Anil Kapoor went on to say that he is a huge fan of Tabu, and he does not mind paying her ten times to her actual remuneration. Anil Kapoor had in the past romanced Tabu in his hit film ‘Viraasat’.

Despite the controversies afloat that the film carries content related to LTTE troops, Sivan rubbished off the rumours. He said that it was a hard hitting film about the lives of teenagers trapped at the time of Civil war in Sri Lanka. The film carries an impressive voiceover narration from ‘Roja’ fame, Arvind Swamy, and stars Karan, Sugandha Ram and Saritha in important roles in the film. The film was earlier planned to release in October 2013 but was delayed due to the continuous work and re work that was being carried out at the post production stages.
