Sruthi Hariharan voiced out in #MeToo movement and made allegations on Arjun Sarja. The ‘Nibunan’ actress said that Sarja made her feel uncomfortable on the sets of their film.

She claimed that during the rehearsal for a scene, he ran his hands intimately on her back and pulled her close without her consent. On this note, the senior actor Arjun Sarja has filed a Rs 5 crore defamation suit against actress Sruthi Hariharan. This took place a week after she accused him of sexual harassment. The case has been filed by Arjun’s nephew Dhruva Sarja. After that the Karnataka Film Chamber organised a chamber meeting.

Ambareesh and other members tried to solve the issue. Arjun demanded that Sruthi should apologise him publicly. Reacting to his words, Sruthi stated that she stands by her words and will fight for what she thinks is right. So, she denied apologizing to him.

The entire South Film Industry was left in shock when the Kannada heroine Sruthi Hariharan made some shocking allegations on Action King Arjun that he harassed her sexually. As part of the MeToo movement in the country, the actress opened up and revealed that Arjun misbehaved with her. Within no time, the comments went viral and multiple people reacted to the same.

On the other side, Arjun condemned all these allegations and has informed that he is going to file a police complaint against the heroine. Meanwhile, the heroine has opened up again saying that the actor’s fans are threatening her. She participated in an event in Kerala recently and revealed the same.

“From the time I opened up, the fans of the actor are threatening me that they will end my life. I am receiving a lot of threatening calls from unknown persons.” said the actress. The media persons over there questioned her about the late reaction to the incident for which she replied saying, “I informed the film’s director then and there. I stopped attending the rehearsals too. I could not do anything else that time.” said the heroine.

On the other side, another character artist opened up about the issue saying that Arjun harassed her. She alleged that Arjun asked her to bring another artist to his room. She also made an allegation that Arjun used to give money for artist supplier to send girls to his rooms.

Kannada actress Sruthi Hariharan lodged a complaint with cyber police at the city police commissioner’s office, requesting action against people uploading morphed photos of hers and other actors on the internet and social media platforms.

Sruthi filed the complaint and stated that the morphed images of her had been doing the rounds for a while. While confirming the allegations, police said that some people had created fake Facebook accounts in Sruthi’s name and published inappropriate images.

Police registered a case under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and began an investigation.
