Sruthi Hariharan voiced out in #MeToo movement and made allegations on Arjun Sarja. The ‘Nibunan’ actress said that Sarja made her feel uncomfortable on the sets of their film.
She claimed that during the rehearsal for a scene, he ran his hands intimately on her back and pulled her close without her consent. On this note, the senior actor Arjun Sarja has filed a Rs 5 crore defamation suit against actress Sruthi Hariharan. This took place a week after she accused him of sexual harassment. The case has been filed by Arjun’s nephew Dhruva Sarja. After that the Karnataka Film Chamber organised a chamber meeting.
Ambareesh and other members tried to solve the issue. Arjun demanded that Sruthi should apologise him publicly. Reacting to his words, Sruthi stated that she stands by her words and will fight for what she thinks is right. So, she denied apologizing to him.
